Role Purpose

Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions across Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain platforms, ensuring successful execution of business change, system enhancements, application modernisation and operational improvements. Accountable for delivery governance, technical coordination, stakeholder engagement, risk management and service stability across SAP and enterprise application landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

• Lead the delivery of business and technology initiatives across Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain domains.
• Manage the complete delivery lifecycle from demand intake through planning, design, build, testing, deployment and post-implementation support.
• Ensure delivery commitments are achieved within agreed scope, timelines, quality and budget.
• Drive Agile and hybrid delivery practices to improve predictability, transparency and customer outcomes.

SAP & Enterprise Application Delivery

• Deliver and support solutions across: SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, SAP BW/BI, SAP BlackLine, SAP Fiori, Finance & Supply Chain applications.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, developers, business analysts, testers and suppliers.
• Ensure alignment of delivered solutions with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

Integration & Middleware Delivery

• Lead delivery of SAP CPI (Cloud Integration Suite) initiatives and integration enhancements.
• Manage SAP PI/PO landscapes, migrations, upgrades and decommissioning activities.
• Coordinate API, middleware and enterprise integration deliveries across multiple platforms.
• Support cloud migration and integration modernisation programmes.
• Ensure robust integration design, performance, security and operational support readiness.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary delivery contact for business and technology stakeholders.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, dependencies, risks, issues and mitigation plans.
• Facilitate governance forums, delivery reviews and stakeholder updates.
• Collaborate with business teams to prioritise demand and manage competing priorities.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure production stability and service continuity for critical business applications.
• Lead incident, problem and change management activities.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support audit, compliance and security requirements across delivered solutions.

Resource & Supplier Management

• Coordinate internal teams, external partners and managed service providers.
• Support delivery planning, estimation, resource allocation and capacity management.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual and operational commitments.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Promote automation, AI and modern delivery practices to improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification and technical debt reduction.
• Contribute to delivery standards, reusable frameworks and best practices.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Strong experience delivering SAP Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain solutions.
• Hands-on understanding of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, BW and related applications.
• Experience delivering SAP CPI, PI/PO and enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum and delivery governance practices.
• Experience managing technical dependencies across multiple teams and suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in incident, change and release management processes.

Desirable

• SAP CPI Migration programmes.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Team Lead / SAP Business Process Lead to take ownership of SAP-related processes across logistics, purchasing, order management, and manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on SAP expertise with proven leadership experience and a practical understanding of cross-functional business processes. You will work closely with different departments, drive process improvements, manage SAP-related responsibilities, and ensure knowledge is effectively transferred across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SAP-related activities across logistics, purchasing, order management, and production
• Support and optimize SAP processes within SD, MM, and PP
• Manage cross-functional SAP projects and process-improvement initiatives
• Acts as a bridge between the European and Indian teams, translating the German team’s requirements into English and clearly communicating them to the Indian team through regular meetings and discussions.
• Take responsibility for department-level SAP activities and coordinate team members where required
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
• Create, maintain, and improve SAP reports and business documentation
• Use SAP reporting and advanced Excel capabilities to analyze data and support business decisions
• Identify process gaps and proactively recommend improvements
• Ensure consistent SAP processes and effective knowledge sharing across teams
• Quickly learn company-specific SAP processes and independently take ownership of new responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of strong SAP experience, ideally in logistics, purchasing, order management, or related business processes
• Hands-on experience with SAP SD, MM, and PP
• Proven experience working on cross-functional SAP projects
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage people and take responsibility for department-level activities
• Strong understanding of business processes within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in plastics manufacturing or a similar production environment is highly desirable
• Excellent Excel skills and solid experience working with SAP reports and data
• Native or bilingual English proficiency
• German communication skills are Mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident approach to work
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different departments

End-to-End SAP-ERP project (BBP to module Go-live)

Experience: 5+Years

Should have done minimum 2-3 End to End Implementations and 1-2 Support Projects.

Strong Knowledge in Implementation.

Involved in workshops for requirement gathering of the client business processes.

Coordinate with the stakeholders during requirement gathering and execution phases.

Hands-on capabilities in Blueprinting, Configuration and Testing the complete process cycles.

Integration knowledge across modules, including Payroll, Projects, TRM, BPC, FM, MM, PM and SD.

Good to have an exposure in PSU processes.

Involved with technical team in providing the functional specifications and testing of client business processes.

Involved in user training workshops, documentation and handling day-to-day issues.

Should have good communication skills and be able to successfully conduct Workshops.

Should have experience of handling a team.
