Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Significant experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, C#, C/C++, or Ruby.

• Fluency in technologies and design concepts around Big Data processing and relational databases, such as the Hadoop ecosystem, Map/Reduce, stream processing, etc.

• Effective communication of technical ideas verbally and in writing, including technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams, and presentations.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

• Design and build distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems.
• Build cloud services on top of the modern OCI infrastructure.
• Participate in the entire software lifecycle, from design to development, to quality assurance, and to production.
• Invest in the best engineering and operational practices upfront to ensure our software quality bar is high.
• Optimize data processing pipelines for orders of magnitude higher throughput and faster latencies.
• Leverage a plethora of internal tooling at OCI to develop, build, deploy, and troubleshoot software.

About the Role :

VP- Software Engineering would be responsible for providing technical leadership to our product engineering team. We are looking for a Full-stack Developer (Architecture Scope) with the craftsmanship of understanding, thinking, learning from the past, and then building. In addition, you should have the leverage to work on mistakes immediately, which requires one to learn by trial and error and eventually lead to perfection, instead of looking at perfection at the first attempt.

Expectations :

• Ability to learn new technology and be hands-on .
• Apply the fundamentals of Data Structure & algorithms over application development.
• To have explored serverless and basics of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Should have enabled cloud-based micro-services production-ready designs using AWS or Google Cloud services handling a scale of more than 1000+ concurrent user volume .
• Take ownership, and visualize security and data privacy while building.
• Primary ownership lies in POCs for solutions requiring Performance, Scale, Cost Optimization.
• Secondary ownership lies in POCs on AI Initiatives .
• Brainstorm and prepare logical and physical solution architecture and code flow diagrams for internal and external consumption .
• Apply design thought process and enable POC outcomes to facilitate production-ready code .
• Self-initiated improvements within the product to scale the solution architecture .
• Prioritize, optimize and automate any manual activities .

Requirements :

• Total experience of 10 to 12 years.
• Angularjs or Reactjs, Typescript or JavaScript, NodeJs, MYSQL, NoSQL (Additional preference).
• Should have enabled cloud-based production-ready designs using AWS or Google Cloud services.
• Someone who is disciplined to document the artifacts and enables a design-based problem-solving approach.

Experience:

• Must be well versed with software development lifecycle (SDLC) management with different project methodologies especially Agile methodology (Scrum).
• Strong Oops concepts, Entity Framework, Design Patterns bootstrap, Web/Windows Services knowledge.
• Working knowledge on C#, ASP.NET, MVC 4.0/5.0, LINQ, Javascript, JQuery, bootstrap, Web/Windows Services.
• Good to have knowledge of Angular JS.
• Must have worked on database like SQL Server/ MySQL.
• Working knowledge on google maps API or GIS would be an added advantage.

• 5-7 years of IT experience. B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/ IT or MCA would be preferred.
