Role: Data Engineer (14+ years of experience)

Job Summary:

Role and Responsibilities

● Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various tools and sources.

● Design data models to support data analysis and reporting.

● Automate data engineering tasks using scripting languages and tools.

● Collaborate with engineers, process managers, data scientists to understand their needs and design solutions.

● Act as a bridge between the engineering and the business team in all areas related to Data.

● Automate monitoring and alerting mechanism on data pipelines, products and Dashboards and troubleshoot any issues. On call requirements.

● SQL creation and optimization - including modularization and optimization which might need views, table creation in the sources etc.

● Defining best practices for data validation and automating as much as possible; aligning with the enterprise standards

● QA environment data management - e.g Test Data Management etc

Qualifications

● 14+ years of experience as a Data engineer or related role.

● Experience with Agile engineering practices.

● Strong experience in writing queries for RDBMS, cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and Redshift.

● Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

● Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

● Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

● Strong experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies (Snowflake)

● Expertise in data modelling

● Experience with ETL/LT tools and methodologies .

● 5+ years of experience in application development including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java

● Experience working on real-time Data Streaming and Data Streaming platform.

This project involves reviewing AI outputs that touch on sensitive topics such as bias, misinformation, or harmful behaviors. • Red team conversational AI models and agents: jailbreaks, prompt injections, misuse cases, bias exploitation, multi-turn manipulation
• Generate high-quality human data: annotate failures, classify vulnerabilities, and flag systemic risks
• Apply structure: follow taxonomies, benchmarks, and playbooks to keep testing consistent
• Document reproducibly: produce reports, datasets, and attack cases customers can act on

The contract rate for this project will be aligned with the level of expertise required, the sensitivity of the material, and the scope of work. Competitive rates commensurate with experience.

KEY DUTIES

• Independently own and resolve high-priority or complex customer issues with minimal supervision
• Reproduce and analyze product defects using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools
• Collaborate with developers to identify root causes and drive timely resolution of defects
• Identify trends in escalations and provide feedback to improve product quality and customer experience
• Document investigation findings, root causes, and resolution steps clearly for both internal and external audiences
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and process improvements to enhance team efficiency
• Represent the escalation team in product reviews or defect triage meetings
• Build subject matter expertise in specific products or components
• Mentor and assist junior team members by reviewing their investigations and coaching through complex cases
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning and backlog refinement
• Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Typically requires 3–6 years of technical experience in a support, development, or escalation role
• Strong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Proficient in debugging tools, logs, and test environments
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex issues and drive them to closure
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, Agile environment
• Proficiency with relevant scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — especially when engaging with customers in critical or escalated situations
• Demonstrated customer-first mindset with an emphasis on clarity, empathy, and follow- through
