SENIOR ENGINEER BACKEND JOB DESCRIPTION 

To design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems that power  core business applications. The Senior Engineer – Backend will be responsible for architecting APIs, optimizing data flow, and ensuring system reliability and performance. This role will collaborate closely  with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver robust solutions that enable seamless user 

experiences and support organizational growth through clean,maintainable, andwell-tested code. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design,develop, andmaintainrobust andscalable backendservices usingNode.js. • Collaborate with front-end developers and productmanagersto define and implement API specifications. 

• Optimize application performance and scalability by identifying bottlenecks and  proposing solutions. 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards. 

• Developunittests andmaintain code coverage toensure highquality. 

• Document architectural solutions and system designs to ensure clarity and  maintainability. 

• Troubleshoot andresolve issuesindevelopment,testing, and production environments. • Stay up to date withemerging technologies and industry trendsto continuously improve our tech  stack. 

• Mentor andguide junior engineers,fostering a culture oflearning andgrowth. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• 5+ yearsof experience in backenddevelopmentwith a focusonNode.js andJavascript. • StrongunderstandingofRESTfulAPIs andmicroservices architecture. 

• Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL, such as DynamoDB, MongoDB,  PostgreSQL,etc.). 

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies(Docker, Kubernetes). • Knowledgeof cloudplatform(AWS) anddeploymentbest practices. 

• Excellentproblem-solving skillsandtheability toworkina fast-pacedenvironment. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

Goodto have: 

• Experiencewithfront-endframeworks(e.g.Angular,React,Vue.js).

Job Title: Customer Support Executive (Work From Office)

Prospecting & Lead Generation:

• Leverage LinkedIn and other professional networks to identify and qualify potential leads within target industries.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

• Engage in consultative selling to understand clients' needs in marketing automation, web development, and digital marketing.
• Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.

Sales Process Management:

• Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach and discovery calls to negotiation and closing deals.
• Prepare tailored sales proposals and presentations aligned with clients business goals.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, client requirements, and competitor offerings in the digital marketing and web development space.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Metrics & Reporting:

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, conversion rates, sales cycle duration, and revenue growth.
• Regularly update the CRM with accurate and detailed information on all client interactions and deal progress.

- Preferred candidate profile

• Certification in digital marketing or web development.
• Experience in selling IT consultancy or software solutions.
• Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and web development frameworks.

What you’ll do at Ather:

• You will be developing the various Applications for the cloud to process data connecting with the vehicle 

• You shall work with the Lead and product team to define and deliver features. 

• Be part of the Agile team, to define Sprint work content definition. 

• Work with cross functional teams to drive overall feature delivery. 

• Be part of the initiatives that achieve the functional requirements of the team. Explore technical feasibility of solutions, propose and evaluate tech stacks. 

• Performance tuning and benchmarking of the features 

Here’s what we are looking for: 

• Strong knowledge and Hands on experience with Nodejs, RestAPI, Java Script, Java Development experience in cloud based infrastructure 

• Strong fundamentals in any fullstack of your choice, OOPS concepts, Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of Java, React, React Native, Android Native , HTML5, Firebase and Go Programming is a plus. 

• Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, UML, Static Code Analysis tools and Unit test framework is required 

• Knowledge on the S/W communication protocols like gRPC, HTTP, MQTT is a plus Cross platform development experience would be needed. 

• Knowledge of Cloud Based solutions would be a plus. 

• App development for a product which is beyond a mobile platform would be a plus. Experience with Telematics/Infotainment projects would be a great advantage. 

• Strong experience with Agile methodology, along with tools such as JIRA, Confluence. 

• Flashing and debugging tools experience is a plus.
