As Java developer you would be expected to perform many duties throughout the development lifecycle of applications, from concept and design right through to testing. Here are some of the responsibilities you may have:

Develop high-level design and define software architecture

Implement and maintain quality systems within the group

Proficiently estimates, design approaches and nimbly move to alternate apporaches, if needed, develop and execute unit test strategies

Monitor and track tasks, and report status

Assist project heads to conceptualize, design, develop, test and implement technology solutions

Effectively collaborate with stakeholders and users to ensure customer satisfaction

Skill Set :

Java 7 / Java 8 with microservices, Multithreading, Springboot, Junit, kafka, Splunk (Good to have), Open Shift (Good to Have), Authentication/ Spring Security (Good to have)

• Sound knowledge of Core Java, JSP, Servlets & MVC, Spring
• Good knowledge of Java Script, Ajax
• Good knowledge of My SQL database server
• Experience in working with IDE like Eclipse or Netbeans
• Knowledge of Spring would be an advantage
• Great problem-solving attitude
• Strong OOP & OOAD fundamentals
• Knowledge of Java EE Design pattern
• Technical hands on Spring, Spring Security, Hibernate, JPA, Struts, OO JS, XML, Webservices (Restful, JAX-WS).
• Nice to have knowledge of Liferay, Amazon EC2, Google App Engine, Restful services, jQuery, YUI, EstJS (Sencha), frameworks.

• Understand the BRS / SRS document
• Coordinate with Team lead/DBA to understand the System design and Database design
• Development and Unit Testing
• Bug fixing and Change Request implementation

Required skills:-

2+ years of experience in the Development of JAVA technology.

Strong Java Basics

SpringBoot or Spring MVC

Hands-on experience on Relational Databases (SQL query or Hibernate) + Mongo (JSON parsing)

Proficient in REST API development

Messaging Queue (RabitMQ or Kafka)

Microservices

Any Caching Mechanism

Good to Have Skills:

2+ years of experience in using Java/J2EE tech stacks

Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced internet start-up environment.

Experience in technical mentorship/coaching is highly desirable.

Understanding of AI/ML algorithms is a plus.

Job Requirements :

- 4+ years of Java development experience

- 4+ years of microservice development experience with Spring boot framework

- Core & Advanced Java (Threading, Design Patterns, Data Structures) J2EE, REST web services

- Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Design Patterns

- Full stack development with Angular 8 experience will be a plus
