Java Developer

About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with expertise in building scalable, extensible applications, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, collaborate with other team members to innovate current/new products; Identify, communicate and implement best practices for application engineering. Our engineering process is fully agile and has a really fast release cycles - which keeps our environment very energetic and fun.

What you’ll do:

• Architect, Design and build scalable applications.
• Work with Product Management teams to get maximum value out of existing data.
• Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements software system.
• Ensure high scalability and performance
• You will advocate for good, clean, well-documented and performing code; define and follow standards and best practices for front-end development.
• Ability to deliver great results in an agile development
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

We’d love for you to have:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a backend developer is required
• Education: B.Tech. in Computer Science from tier - 1 engineering colleges in India

• A self-starter who is passionate about problem solving across complex technology stack.
• Highly skilled back-end engineer using Object-Oriented programming preferably Java, exposure to open source libraries and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge and experience in REST based programming using Restlet framework.
• Ability and experience in evaluation and integration of third party systems and libraries.
• Experience in system architecture, data structures, algorithm design and their optimization.
• Passion for performance benchmarking and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of web standards (i.e. REST/SOAP) concepts
• Knowledge of version control (GIT) and databases (MySQL)
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, design, develop, debug, document, and deliver (especially in a multiple location organization).
• Experience in Test-driven development.

Senior Software Engineer Full stack/ Java track/ UI/ Android

Skills required: -

• Good design skills and exposure to multiple software architectures. -

• Strong understanding of OO/ knowledge of frameworks such as Spring/ Spring Boot/ design and good software development practices. -

• Strong core server-

• side technologies experience (Java) and/or having any of front end/UI skills (Angular, JS, HTML). Knowledge of Android is a huge plus. -

• Strong database skills including schema design. -

• Strong knowhow of data-structures and algorithms. -

• Experience with configuration management, testing, deployment. -

• Hands on development across technologies. -

• Exp- 4-6yrs . -

• Strong UI architecture and design skills and keen business sense. -

• Excellent front end/UI skills (JS, HTML, Angular, Flutter) and OR Android skills. -

• Good knowledge of nodeJS. -

Key Responsibilities

• Back-end Implementation: Authorization, Authentication, Modular design
• Application Development: Documentation, code quality, Unit Testing, Optimization, Bug fixing.)
• Back-end Operations (build tools, deployment, speed: (app, tests, builds, deploys), monitoring errors/logs, and stability).
• Review the created data model & ask any necessary clarifying questions before starting on work
• Write API code to implement the action on visual elements.
• Develop Json Web Services and Web applications.
• Create prototypes and staging sites for review and feedback
• Optimize websites and applications to ensure fast loading speeds
• Maintain websites and implement any necessary additions or enhancements
• Identify and troubleshoot various website issues and coding problems
• Collaborate with members of the website team, including designers and front-end developers, to consistently improve functionality and user-friendliness of web applications
• Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology
• Meet tight deadlines as required
• Knowledge of the common application/web security and OWASP vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of the encryption algorithms to protect sensitive information.
• Knowledge of PII, PCI, HIPPA, and GDPR compliance and how to implement.
• Understanding of security breaches of data-in-transit and data-at-rest and knowledge in implementation for both.
• Knowledge/Aware of finding the vulnerabilities of the third-party components/libraries used in the application and remediating vulnerabilities.

Requirements :

- Innovative and self-motivated with passion to develop complex and scalable applications.

- 2-5 years of experience in software development with strong focus on algorithms and data structures.

- Strong coding and design skills with prior experience in developing scalable & high availability applications using Core Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate.

- Work experience with Relational databases is required (Primarily MySQL).

- Prior work experience with Non-Relational databases (primarily Redis, MongoDb) is an added plus.
