Job Description:

· Design, Develop, Implement, Test, Document and Maintain high quality Web Application Software.

· Understanding and implementing of project management practices.

· MVC compliant Development (Laravel/YII / CodeIgniter / Zend Framework) in at least any one of these frameworks.

· Experience with CMS framework i.e. Wordpress.

· Optimization of PHP Code and database queries and functions through Code Review and Project Review Sessions.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.

· Improve the technical competence of the team through training & development of existing and new team members.

· Provide accurate effort estimates for deliverable and be committed to the deadlines through follow-up of tasks with team members.

· Research and actively learn about new technologies and introduce them into the infrastructure.

Eligibility criteria :

· Minimum experience if 2 years in laravel and wordpress. both

· Excellent problem-solving skills and love technical challenges.

· Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

· Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast pace environment.

· Strong database skills, proven experience with MySQL 5 having knowledge of indexes, fulltext searches, usage of Regular Expressions in queries and more.

· Excellent knowledge of Applications Architecture and how to work with Frameworks with MVC architecture.

· Excellent Knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript, jQuery/Sencha etc.

· Key Skills Required : Wordpress, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, Mysql, Jquery, API (Restful Service).

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the software design of large scale applications and features & enhancements which reaches millions of players. You should be passionate about players, performance, scalability and holds a very high bar for quality of the game.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Owns technical roadmap, design and review for end-to-end games, ensure design quality and integrity
• Modernizing the tech stack
• Bring tech innovations in the game which will help in growth of the games
• Design, code, and develop new features/fix bugs/add enhancements
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of various system resources
• Lead and Mentor junior engineers and drive a culture of technical perfection.
• Drive creative and innovative solutions to complex problems, exemplifying good technical discernment.
• Drive improvements and new approaches to address potential systemic pain points and technical debt, anticipate and avoid problems.
• Take a hands-on approach in the development of prototypes, independently and with others, to establish design decisions and/or technical feasibility.

Required Skills

• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, mobile, desktop or web application development with hands on coding experience covering full stack
• Experience coding in C#, C++, Python, Javascript and SQL
• Working knowledge of mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• A proven foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, OOPS and software design
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Skills

• Experience with mobile development – Android/iOS/Native OR on game engines such as Cocos-2D, Unity or other.

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, ELBs, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, terraform etc)
• Experience with setting up server monitoring, alerting and server provisioning
• Familiarity with micro service architecture, containers and related technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
• Experience with development tools & integrated build systems: XCode, IntelliJ, Git/Jenkins
• Experience of driving activities, review process to ensure software and product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in the requirements analysis, design, development and testing of applications.
• The candidate is expected to write code himself/herself.
• The candidate is expected to write high level code, code review, unit testing and deployment.
• Practical application of design principles with a focus on the user experience, usability, template designs, cross browser issues and client server concepts.
• Contributes to the development of project estimates, scheduling, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• BE/B. Tech. Computer Science or MCA from a reputed University.
• 3.5 - 6.5 Years of experience in software development, with emphasis on JAVA/J2EE Server side programming.
• Hands on experience in Core Java, Multithreading, RMI, Socket programing, JDBC, NIO, webservices and Design patterns.
• Should have Knowledge of distributed system, distributed caching, messaging frameworks ESB etc.

• Additionally, knowledge of HBase, Hadoop and Hive are desirable.
• Familiarity with message queue systems and AMQP and Kafka is desirable.
• Should have experience as a participant in Agile methodologies.
