Requirements:

• 1–15 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on building APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in server‑side languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go, and solid understanding of object‑oriented and functional programming paradigms.
• Extensive experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis), including schema design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands‑on experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset for working within multidisciplinary teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput backend services and RESTful APIs that support core product features.
• Implement data models and storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers, product managers, and designers to define technical requirements and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems, implementing robust logging, alerting, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows, including CI/CD automation, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative approaches to enhance system architecture.

• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Own code for the products with responsibilities including but not limited to designing, developing, testing, maintenance of products.
• Building RESTful services and do DevOps.
• Talking to customers and business teams to suggest improvement areas in product flows.
• Create peer learnings for team members and build context for new teammates
• Help with building the company's tech team and iterating on the hiring framework.
• Provide regular feedback to your team (peers and managers) to ensure continuous improvement.
• Keeping abreast with the latest technologies and working on your skills regularly.

Skills & Requirements

• Good knowledge and experience of working with backend systems; designing server-side architecture, including production maintenance experience are must-haves.
• At least 1-8 years of experience in any programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, and Node.js(Node.js preferred).
• Understanding of micro-services-oriented architecture.
• Experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics
• Experience in driving and delivering complex features/software modules from technical design to launch.
• Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Have empathy for the users you build for

We are looking for a Backend Developer who has 4-6 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing backend services using Python and Django.

- Responsibilities-

- Design highly scalable, testable code and follow Test Driven Development methodology 

- Able to write well-organized, modularised code with test cases.

- Contribute to the design and architecture of our backend APIs and deployment of microservices

- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and maintain the overall quality of our codebase.

- Work with the product team to translate powerful ideas into everyday business value.

- Skills-

- Back-end programming language: Python

- Familiarity with Django or Flask framework

- Familiarity with AWS and Elastic Search

- Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases with an insight into various data modeling use cases

- Experience with system & unit testing

- Familiarity with containerized deployment

- Proficiency with Git

- Sound with data structures and algorithms and have a good understanding of design patterns, software architectures

Qualifications:

2-3 years of professional software engineering experience building customer-facing web and/or mobile applications Strong coding skills using Python, Django, is mandatory. Knowledge on Html, Css, React Js, Jquery, Bootstrap or equivalent programming language is added advantage Graduated from Tier 1 or Tier 2 engineering colleges Excellent knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Experience working in an agile environment Self-quick learner and passionate problem solver Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, with an enthusiastic attitude to support and resolve customer problems Good oral and written communication skills Above all, an insatiable desire and ability to learn
