Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Java Backend Developer Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of robust backend systems. This role requires hands-on coding expertise, architectural vision, and the ability to mentor and lead a team of developers in delivering high-performance, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the backend development team in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures using Java (preferably Java 11+).
• Architect and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing (JUnit/TestNG), and integration testing.
• Optimize application performance and scalability through profiling and tuning.
• Guide team members in adopting best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies.
• Work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Exposure to security best practices and performance testing tools like JMeter.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to key business functions. The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance systems using modern C++
• Architect and implement containerized services using Docker, with orchestration via Kubernetes or ECS
• Build, monitor, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and hands-on experience in deploying and
• managing applications in the cloud.
• Implement and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration, testing, and delivery
• Participate in system design, peer code reviews, and performance tuning

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience, with strong command over modern C++
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
• Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows.
• EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) for managing containerized workloads.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing robust data pipelines & Microservices.
• Proficient in building and scaling data processing workflows and working with structured/unstructured data
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker, container orchestration, and microservices architecture
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices, Git, and build/release tools
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Must-haves

• Strong proficiency in NodeJS and JavaScript.

What you will be doing:

• Lead and provide first level supervision to project teams and ensures successful delivery of tasks assigned to the team along with sharing of project updates & related communication with stakeholders.
• Writing and ensuring reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Managing data across multiple databases and providing analysis to stakeholders.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Implementation of security and data protection (permission classes and middleware.)
• Implementation of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.

What you bring:

• Should have minimum 4 years of experience in development using Python and 1 year in leading Python based projects.
• Strong experience in Application lifecycle management – development, testing and deployment.
• Strong understanding and experience with code version control tools (git, svn, etc.)
• Expert in Python with working experience on Django, AWS, Lambda, RDS, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Integration of data storage solutions redis, postgresql, mysql (big query, big table, pubsub, appengine).
• Strong in data structures and algorithms
• Preferably candidates with Financial/lending Applications development experience with any Fintech Co.
