About the Role:

We're seeking a passionate and experienced QA Automation Lead to join our dynamic team. You'll be responsible for leading the charge in developing and executing comprehensive test automation strategies for our product functionalities. From collaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria to building and optimizing test frameworks, you'll wear many hats and play a pivotal role in ensuring software quality.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a team of 5+ QA professionals in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Translate requirements and test designs into clear and concise test suites covering UI, API, and performance aspects.
• Design and implement robust test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, prioritize test cases, and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
• Proactively review application performance, recommend performance testing strategies, and execute performance tests as needed.
• Participate in the SDLC process, contributing to test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements and implementing them.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of building and executing automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Expert in Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of modern web technology testing techniques (e.g., REST APIs, web services).
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests using Python.
• Ability to write SQL queries and retrieve data from databases.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about quality assurance and its role in delivering exceptional products.
• Creative, independent, self-motivated, and adaptable to learning new technologies.

Bonus Points:

Required Qualifications –

Desired Skills –

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute end-to-end automation test cases, track results, and log defects.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to meet software release deliverables.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of new QA-related tools and processes.
• Work closely with developers to address defects in a timely manner, identify root causes, and determine ways to prevent them in the future.
• Collaborate with teams to identify testing opportunities and understand the impact of system changes.
• Identify gaps in test coverage, and make recommendations on priority and how best to fill them.
• Create appropriate test strategies based on risk and feasibility, collaborating with teams and stakeholders to ensure expectations are clear and understood.
• Design, implement and educate teams on test automation frameworks and processes.

Requirements:

• At least three or more 3+ years of automation experience and/or software development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of web and mobile test automation.
• Stronghold on Javascript, Cypress.
• Experience in creating and implementing effective functional and non-functional test cases.
• Hands-on experience with BDD.
• Strong Javascript coding skills.
• Good understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of software performance testing techniques.
• Self-starter that can perform with minimal direction.
• Experience in detail-oriented mobile app testing for user experience, mobile app design and pixel-perfection, functionality, accessibility, regression, security, availability.
• While you'll be part of a team, working in the current remote environment, requires an ability to take ownership over your work, in terms of timelines and development quality.
• Ideally have worked in fast-growing startups, so you understand the need and ability to be able to move fast.
• Hands-on experience with Web services testing and multi-tier web service applications.
• Experience defining and executing system performance tests and analyzing results.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages and/or automated test tools.
• Experience using agile project and bug tracking tools.

We have an urgent requirement of an Automation Tester who has at least 2 years of experience in Automation Testing.
Immediate Joiner will be preffered or the maximum notice period -15 days.

Job Requirements:

Skills required

• Writing reliable and maintainable automated tests.

• Experience with Serenity BDD test framework, (Cucumber, Selenium, Rest Assured)
• Programming skills with either Java / JavaScript / Python or similar
• Unit testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit and/or N Unit
• Testing API’s with SoapUI / Postman or similar
• Performance Testing with J meter, Neo Load or similar
• Familiarity with Swagger or Open API Specifications.

Senior QA Engineer shall be responsible understanding of the domain and using that understanding to enhance work output in terms of functionality of software applications. This Role needs to assess and diagnose issues during the requirement gathering process; Determine preliminary solutions to identified issues and gaps; Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project delivery dates. Must work towards continuously aligning test activities to prioritized requirements stack/product backlogs and JIT (just in time) model storms. Develop & execute test cases in alignment to test strategy

Automation QA

• Have worked on automation using tools like Selenium WebDriver or Appium.
• Experience in testing banking applications – like core banking systems, electronic banking apps, payment services
• Experience working on applications like Finacle, Fiserve DNA will be a plus.
• Testing Experience with good understanding of Software Test Lifecycle including Test Cases Design, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, Test log, Test results, Test Traceability Matrix
• Understand functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases for multiple projects.
• Perform Desktop, Web, API - functional, regression, smoke, exploratory testing & end to end testing.
• Demonstrated experience working within an Agile team and using project management tool like JIRA or similar tools
• Excellent communication to interact with the onshore counterparts, business teams and team members

Mandate Skills:- Appium, Java

Responsibilities:

• Should have hands on experience Java have flexibility to learn new programming languages, tools & can build PoC around them
• Should have hands on experience on Functional Testing (UI, Mobile, API), Regression Testing, Testing Web Services/API (Postman/Swagger/YAML)
• Experience on load testing/performance testing is good to have
• Should have hands on experience with API testing tools like ReadyAPI, SOAPUI, JMeter, Blaze meter etc.
• Should have hands on knowledge in writing PL/SQL's to collect and verify test data and should have worked on relational databases.
• Must have knowledge on setting up test automation pipeline in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Teamcity, and Azure DevOps etc.

Desired profile:

• Should have excellent communication skills and should be able to handle communications independently and confidently with business and development teams.
• Should have good documentation skills & experience in defining and publishing key quality metrics and governance around it.
• Experience with Test Management tools like Atlassian JIRA, TestRail will be a plus.
• Experience working in Agile software development

Responsibilities
As an SDET at Jumio, the candidate is expected to develop and maintain automated functional, integration and load tests for web applications that ensure the quality of developed product features. They are supposed to be champions of quality and participate in developing and enhancing continuous delivery solutions. They are expected to participate
actively in agile development rhythms (scrum, kanban etc), be able to read / write good quality code. The role also requires some level of manual testing depending on project needs.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years relevant work experience.
2. Experience in unit testing, acceptance testing, integration testing, system/end-to-end testing for Web applications / REST services
