Role Overview

We are looking for a Delivery Supervisor – Last Mile to own and deliver a white-glove, hassle-free delivery and installation experience. This role requires the individual to be physically present at customer sites on delivery days, acting as the single point of accountability for end-to-end last-mile execution.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for candidates with experience in furniture delivery, installation coordination, or site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Be present at the customer location during scheduled delivery and installation.
• Act as the single point of ownership for end-to-end last-mile execution.
• Ensure products are delivered, unpacked, assembled, and installed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate in real time with OEM/vendor dispatch teams, installers, carpenters, technicians, and logistics partners.
• Ensure on-time arrival, correct installation sequencing, and minimal waiting time at site.
• Represent the brand professionally and communicate timelines and next steps clearly to customers.
• Inspect products for transit damage, finish issues, or missing parts prior to installation.
• Ensure safe handling of furniture, site cleanliness, and protection of customer property.
• Resolve on-ground issues independently and escalate only when necessary.
• Update delivery status, issues, and customer feedback accurately in internal systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience in last-mile delivery, installation, or site coordination (furniture or interiors preferred)
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-first mindset with high attention to detail
• Calm, solution-oriented approach in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to travel and be on-site for deliveries

1. Development of new web applications.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software and new user-facing features across Novo’s products and services.
• Drive technical decisions on a multi-functional, Agile team alongside product management, product design, and engineering.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability and analyze feedback from customers and internal teams to identify issues and improvement opportunities. 
• Champion a passion for engineering best practices such as code quality, linting, and testing.
• Ensure our software is reliable, extensible, maintainable, debuggable, secure, well-tested and performs well under load.
• Mentor junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development and testing.
• Stay engaged with latest technologies and evaluate strategies to keep the Novo technology stack up to date.

• 5+ years experience in a highly technical role at a hyper-growth startup or fast-paced company.
• Extensive background designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software.
• Good understanding of Node.js & Javascript.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business goals and initiatives into technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of SQL database.
• Demonstrable experience architecting scalable and cost effective solutions to ensure and support customer growth.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development and testing.
• Strong understanding of system design and architecture.
• Interest in engaging with latest technologies and evaluating strategies to keep the Novo technology stack up to date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams effectively.
