About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in cloud-based ETL tools, Azure ecosystem, and advanced SQL skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in validating complex data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute ETL test plans, test cases, and test scripts for cloud-based data pipelines.
• Perform data validation, transformation, and reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Work extensively with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and related Azure services.
• Develop and run complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform regression, functional, and performance testing of ETL processes.
• Identify defects, log them, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to data quality and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in ETL testing, preferably with cloud-based ETL tools.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL.
• Advanced SQL query writing and performance tuning skills.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data models, and data governance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, PySpark, or automation frameworks for ETL testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Knowledge of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations.

• 4+ years of experience building applications in Native iOS (Swift)
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs.
• Strong Js fundamentals - You should be able to contribute partially to our existing React Native development as well
• Ability to give clarity and communicate well with the team, including Product, Backend and Dev-Ops (if and when needed)
• Ability to use profiling tools well, getting to root causes of bugs fast
• Ability to pick and work on adjacent technologies if and when required (Eg: If the best performance monitoring solution needs a basic firebase setup, that should not be a blocker for you to go ahead and do so)
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes
• You need to be comfortable working in a remote environment (Good internet connection and availability on phone is needed)

Requirements

• 3.5+ years of experience in React JS and Redux
• Expert in React.j, ideally using TypeScript language extensions
• Good understanding of JavaScript Design Patterns
• Good experience writing front-end test cases
• HTML5, CSS3 and Responsive web design are mandatory
• Exposure to Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration or continuous delivery

Responsibilities :      

• Requirement gathering and stakeholder management for client projects.
• Scope software development projects, create various documents (e.g. SRS, wireframes etc) and define development roadmap along side technical lead.
• Coordinate with clients day to day and act as a product owner to ensure the software being developed is conceptualised and delivered per client's expectations.
• Facilitate kick off meetings, requirement meetings and status meetings.
• Setting out quality standards for various operational areas, ensuring a high quality customer experience while adhering to the SLA’s and work processes 
• Use tools such as JIRA for project management/tracking.
• Verify and validate the software on a regular basis.
• Ensure in-scope development and obtain change request approvals by evaluating against change control processes.
• Conduct impact assessments and manage risks/resolution with least impact to project constraints.
• Manage and mentor a team.
• Coordinate with sales team and participate in pre-sales activities as and when required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead QA engineers into developing performance & functional test plans and test scenarios using requirements and product documentation while specifying testing overview, approach, strategy, scope, architecture, environment, roles and responsibilities
• Scope projects and estimate testing needs
• Design and implement testing methods for both end to end, and individual service layers of the application stack
• Identify bottlenecks in functionality and performance, and provide actionable information and suggestions based on analysis of testing results
• Communicate technical information clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
• Work closely with development engineers and management in a fast-paced technical environment

Requirements:

• 4-7 years experience in Quality Assurance of IT products
• Hands on experience in Test Automation using Selenium
• Experience Leading Testing Teams in both Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong work ethic and accountability on Quality Assurance
• Experience in building SCRUM/Agile skills within the Testing Team
• Exercise independent thought and judgement and adapt to new tasks
• Experience in Performance Testing is mandatory.
• Experience in Security Testing is a plus, but not mandatory
