
Application Developer/Software Engineer



We are seeking an Application Developer/Software Engineer with strong technical experience in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) with a demonstrated technical expertise in one or more areas of state-of-the-art software development technology.
Responsibilties:
- Provides activities related to enterprise full life-cycle software development projects.
- Develops detailed functional and technical requirements for client-server and web software applications.
- Conduct detailed analyses and module-level specification development of software requirements.
- Define and implement high-performance and highly scalable product/application architectures and lead operational, tactical, and strategic integration activities.
- Perform complex programming and analysis for web and mobile applications and ETL processing; define requirements; write program specifications; design, code, test, and debug programming assignments; document programs.
- Supervise the efforts of other developers in major system development projects; determine and analyze functional requirements; determine proposed solutions information processing requirements; and optimize system performance.
- The work task could include total custom development, customization as needed for COTS, report development, data conversion, and support of legacy applications.
Requirements:
- Can code at an intermediate or expert level in applications such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL, Python, Java, React, TypeScript, CSS/JavaScript, Git, Azure, Knockout, MarkLogic, ORACLE, etc.
- 4+ years’ experience or specific educational background sufficient to demonstrate competency with Microsoft technology, including ASP.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), SharePoint.
- knowledge of HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, .NET Framework, Visual Studio, JavaScript.
- 4+ years with Cloud technologies such as Azure / AWS / Google Cloud.
- Proficient with appropriate programming languages, particularly ASP.
- NET and modern web frameworks like React.
- Comfortable with Object Oriented Programming and Software Patterns.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- High motivation and ability to work with teams to meet project objectives.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and goals without management supervision.
- Awareness of database design concepts and proficiency in a general cloud environment.
Educational Requirements:
- BS in a field related to computer science or information systems, or advanced degree, or additional specific training and/or certification in 4th generation computing language.
- Must be able to define and implement high-performance and highly scalable product/application architectures, and able to lead integration activities for operational, tactical, and strategic systems.
- Able to develop detailed functional and technical requirements for client-server and web software applications and conduct detailed analyses and module-level specification development of software requirements.
