Account Manager

Technical Support Engineers (TSE) make up a small, talented, and dedicated global team providing an important part of the Pendo experience through guidance and consulting to customers. Responsibilities:

• Answer customer questions through our support queue
• Be the voice of the customer to the Product and Engineering organizations
• Debug customer issues, create reproducible test cases for developers, and validate fixes and workarounds
• Take ownership of pushing cases to resolution, including working with developers
• Actively contribute to knowledge documentation through the creation of internal and customer-facing documentation
• Qualifications (your experience):
• Highly empathetic and passionate about helping others at a moment's notice
• Applied coding knowledge - Front End or API
• Reliable and active team member
• Ability to learn technical concepts and translate them to business solutions for customers with a thirst for knowledge
• Conversational fluency in spoken and written English
• 2+ years of professional experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and/or Mobile Development
• 2+ years of professional experience working in a customer-facing role
• Proven record of continued education/pursuit of knowledge in technology (computer science degree, coding school, other relevant courses)

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Develop new features in React/NextJS
2. Write unit test cases
3. Fix bugs and write technical documentation
4. Write CI/CD pipelines for the UI

• Reads through or listens to material in Japanese language mainly, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning

• Translates online, video, and other media by providing subtitles

• Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialised concepts and translate them appropriately

• Prepare internal and external corporate documents for team members and industry partners

• Schedule meetings, appointments and manage other related works

• Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents

• Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

• Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele

• Translates a variety of documents including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific,

educational, and commercial materials

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong technical background with node.js, event loop understanding, unit testing, developing web application & APIs, event & stream, call-back & closures, promise, async/await, accessing file system, Optimization techniques
• understanding of different components such as web server, storages, integrations
• should have worked on designing and building server-side solutions (in any technology), build process of node.js, CI/CD process of node.js, multi-tasking (working on multiple things at same time)
• Good knowledge of functional and Object-Oriented Programming
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
• Familiarity with Azure pipeline
• Should have experience in Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas and sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures. Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
• Knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.
• Fundamental knowledge of design patterns
• Experience in communicating effectively with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
• Mentoring the team members to meet the client's needs and holding them accountable for high standards of delivery.
• Being able to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and be able to apply these learnings in complex troubleshooting scenarios.

• Writing and reviewing great quality code

• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Strong in Basic C++, STL, Linux

OOPs, Exception Handling

Design Pattern and Solid principles, concepts related to UML representation

•           Solution, design, and architecture concepts

•           Knowledge on Pointers and smart Pointers.

•           IO streams, Files and Streams and Lambda Expressions in C++ added advantage.

•           Features of C++17 and usage of STL in C++ is added advantage.

•           Templates in C++.

Communication skill, Attitude, learnability

The candidate for the role will be responsible for enabling single view for the data from multiple sources. 

• Work on creating data pipelines to graph database from data lake
• Design graph database
• Write Graph Database queries for front end team to use for visualization
• Enable machine learning algorithms on graph databases
• Guide and enable junior team members

B.Tech with 2-7 years of experience

Must Have

Hands-on exposure to Graph Databases like Neo4J, Janus etc..

1. Hands-on exposure to programming and scripting language like Python and PySpark
2. Knowledge of working on cloud platforms like GCP, AWS etc.
3. Knowledge of Graph Query languages like CQL, Gremlin etc.
4. Knowledge and experience of Machine Learning 

Good to Have

• Knowledge of working on Hadoop environment

• Knowledge of graph algorithms

• Ability to work on tight deadlines
