Role: C++/Qt Systems Engineer

You will be responsible for visualizing complex sensor data and robotic movements with zero lag, ensuring the software is as responsive as the hardware it controls.

The Mission (Scorecard)

●      Architect the "Un-bottlenecked" UI: Develop a Qt-based framework capable of handling massive data throughput from NDT sensors without a single frame drop.

●      Low-Latency Synergy: Collaborate daily with our C++ BackEnd Architect, who will provide technical mentorship to ensure the UI layer adheres to sub-millisecond systems-level requirements.

●      Real-Time Data Visualization: Design and implement modular C++ backend components that integrate with Qt HMI dashboards for real-time status and sensor visualization.

●      Hardware-to-HMI Integration: Implement SPI, UART, and CAN communication protocols for high-precision data acquisition and device control

●      Mission-Critical Reliability: Own the software lifecycle from initial commit to field deployment, ensuring it meets the "zero-defect" culture required for robotics and medical-grade ap

●      Product Ownership: Own the software lifecycle from initial commit to field deployment, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of real-world robotics.

Technical DNA (Requirements)

·     Core Systems Programming: Deep mastery of C++ (OOP, STL, RAII) and Linux System Programming.

·     Qt Framework Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Qt Widgets, Signals & Slots, and Qt Creator.

·     Concurrency & Performance: Extensive experience in Multithreading, POSIX threads, Mutex, and Condition Variables to handle asynchronous data streams.

·     Networking & IPC: Robust experience in TCP/IP Socket Programming (Client-Server) and IPC mechanisms including Shared Memory, Message Queues, and Semaphores.

·     Embedded Protocols: Hands-on experience with CAN, SPI, UART, and I2C for interacting with hardware peripherals and ADCs.

·     Debugging & Profiling: Proficiency with GDB, Valgrind, and system-level testing using Oscilloscopes and CAN Analyzers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Driving the success of the software engineering team at Datamotive.

• Collaborating with senior and peer engineers to prioritize and deliver features on the roadmap.

• Build strong development team with focus on building optimized & usable solutions.

• Research, Design & Develop distributed solution to handle workload mobility across multi & hybrid cloudsr

• Assist in Identifying, Researching & Designing newer features and cloud platform support in areas of disaster recovery, data protection, workload migration etc.

• Assist in building product roadmap.

• Conduct pilot tests to assess the functionality of newly developed programs.

• Front facing customers for product introduction, knowledge transfer, solutioning, bugs triaging etc.

• Assist customers by giving product demos, conducting POCs, trainings etc.

• Manage Datamotive infrastructure, bring innovative automation for optimizing infrastructure usage through monitoring and scripting. • Design test environments to simulate customer behaviours and use cases in VMware vSphere, AWS, GCP, Azure clouds. • Help write technical documentation, generate marketing content like blogs, webinars, seminars etc.

TECHNICAL SKILLS?

• Experience in software development with relevant domain understanding of Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, Ransomware Recovery.

• A strong understanding and demonstrable experience with at least one of the major public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure or VMware)

• A strong understanding and experience of designing and developing architecture of complex, distributed systems.

• Insights into development of client-server SaaS applications with good breadth across networking, storage, micro-services, and other web technologies.

• Experience of building and leading strong development teams with systems product development background

• Programming knowledge in either of GO Lang, C, C++, Python or Shell script.

• Should be a computer science graduate with strong fundamentals & problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of virtualization, storage and cloud platforms like VMware, AWS, GCP, Azure and/or Kubernetes will be preferable

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience.
• Should have worked with Product based company for a minimum 2+ yrs 
• Strong background in Microsoft Technologies and SDLC concepts. Should have experience in below technologies:
• Microsoft .Net (ASP.NET & ASP .NET CORE)
• C#, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery /, Typescript
• Knowledge on Node Js
• MVC and WebAPI
• MS SQL Server management Studio (SSMS) to develop database objects such as Stored Procedures, Functions, views, triggers, constraints etc. and look for performance tuning and Exception handling for these components
• Good to have: Understanding of MS Excel VBA /MS-access/ macro codes

Key Skills

Should possess hands-on full life-cycle development experience (architect, design, code, test, release) be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, client/server-side development frameworks and third-party libraries.

• Should be strong in data structures and algorithms. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Work with cutting edge technologies like Java 8, Scala, React, Akka, Docker, Puppet, and Salt
• Hands-on knowledge of Spring core, MVC, JPA. Working knowledge of Spring Boot
• Should have strong hands-on on one of the JavaScript frameworks: jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, and Vue.js.
• Willing to working with latest Cloud and Container technologies like AWS
