Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop deep understanding of the end-to-end configurations, dependencies, customer requirements, and overall characteristics of the production services as the accountable owner for overall service operations
• Implementing best practices, challenging the status quo, and tab on industry and technical trends, changes, and developments to ensure the team is always striving for best-in-class work
• Lead incident response efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime. Implement effective incident management processes and post-incident reviews
• Participate in on-call rotation responsibilities, ensuring timely identification and resolution of infrastructure issues
• Possess expertise in designing and implementing capacity plans, accurately estimating costs and efforts for infrastructure needs.
• Systems and Infrastructure maintenance and ownership for production environments, with a continued focus on improving efficiencies, availability, and supportability through automation and well defined runbooks
• Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Mentor team members in best practices, technologies, and methodologies.
• Design for Reliability - Architect & implement solutions that keeps Infrastructure running with Always On availability and ensures high uptime SLA for the Infrastructure
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables related to your technical expertise and assigned domains
• Collaborate with Product & Information Security teams to ensure the integrity and security of Infrastructure and applications. Implement security best practices and compliance standards.

Must Haves

• 5-8 years of experience as Devops / SRE / Platform Engineer.
• Strong expertise in automating Infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Docker, Helm Charts etc.
• Strong skills in network services such as DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP, etc
• Expertise in managing large-scale cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS and Oracle)
• Expertise in managing production grade Kubernetes clusters
• Experience in scripting using programming languages like Bash, Python, etc.
• Expertise in skill sets for centralized logging systems, metrics, and tooling frameworks such as ELK, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, and Grafana etc.
• Experience in Managing and building High scale API Gateway, Service Mesh, etc
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
• Have a working knowledge of a backend programming language
• Deep knowledge & experience with Unix / Linux operating systems internals (Eg. filesystems, user management, etc)
• A working knowledge and deep understanding of cloud security concepts
• Proven track record of driving results and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical project stakeholders, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. 

• Minimum 3+ yrs of Experience in DevOps with AWS Platform
•     • Strong AWS knowledge and experience
•     • Experience in using CI/CD automation tools (Git, Jenkins, Configuration deployment tools ( Puppet/Chef/Ansible)
•     • Experience with IAC tools  Terraform
•     • Excellent experience in operating a container orchestration cluster (Kubernetes, Docker)
•     • Significant experience with Linux operating system environments
•     • Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Python/Shell scripting
•     • Must have experience in designing Infrastructure automation framework.
•     • Good experience in any of the Setting up Monitoring tools and Dashboards ( Grafana/kafka)
•     • Excellent problem-solving, Log Analysis and troubleshooting skills
•     • Experience in setting up centralized logging for system (EKS, EC2) and application
•     • Process-oriented with great documentation skills
•     • Ability to work effectively within a team and with minimal supervision

• Seeking an Individual carrying around 5+ yrs of experience.
• Must have skills - Jenkins, Groovy, Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python, Linux Admin
• Terraform, AWS deep knowledge to automate and provision EC2, EBS, SQL Server, cost optimization, CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Server less automation is plus.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English. Enjoy writing crisp and understandable documentation
• Comfortable programming in one or more scripting languages
• Enjoys tinkering with tooling. Find easier ways to handle systems by doing some research. Strong awareness around build vs buy.

• Basic understanding of cluster orchestrators and schedulers (Kubernetes)
• Deep knowledge of Linux as a production environment, container technologies. e.g. Docker, Infrastructure As Code such as Terraform, K8s administration at large scale.
• Have worked on production distributed systems and have an understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful services, CI/CD.

• 3 - 6 years of software development, and operations experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and applications at scale.
• Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
• Experience managing any distributed NoSQL system (Kafka/Cassandra/etc.)
• Experience with Containers, Microservices, deployment and service orchestration using Kubernetes, EKS (preferred), AKS or GKE.
• Strong scripting language knowledge, such as Python, Shell
• Experience and a deep understanding of Kubernetes.
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Delivery.
• Work collaboratively with software engineers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
• Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
• Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization

Position Summary

DevOps is a Department of Horizontal Digital, within which we have 3 different practices.

1. Cloud Engineering
2. Build and Release
3. Managed Services

This opportunity is for Cloud Engineering role who also have some experience with Infrastructure migrations, this will be a complete hands-on job, with focus on migrating clients workloads to the cloud, reporting to the Solution Architect/Team Lead and along with that you are also expected to work on different projects for building out the Sitecore Infrastructure from scratch.

We are Sitecore Platinum Partner and majority of the Infrastructure work that we are doing is for Sitecore.

Sitecore is a .Net Based Enterprise level Web CMS, which can be deployed on On-Prem, IaaS, PaaS and Containers.

So, most of our DevOps work is currently planning, architecting and deploying infrastructure for Sitecore.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• This role includes ownership of technical, commercial and service elements related to cloud migration and Infrastructure deployments.
• Person who will be selected for this position will ensure high customer satisfaction delivering Infra and migration projects.
• Candidate must expect to work in parallel across multiple projects, along with that candidate must also have a fully flexible approach to working hours.
• Candidate should keep him/herself updated with the rapid technological advancements and developments that are taking place in the industry.
• Along with that candidate should also have a know-how on Infrastructure as a code, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
• Total work experience of 6 to 8 Years.
• Total migration experience of 4 to 6 Years.
• Multiple Cloud Background (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Implementation knowledge of VMs, Vnet,
• Know-how of Cloud Readiness and Assessment
• Good Understanding of 6 R's of Migration.
• Detailed understanding of the cloud offerings
• Ability to Assess and perform discovery independently for any cloud migration.
• Working Exp. on Containers and Kubernetes.
• Good Knowledge of Azure Site Recovery/Azure Migrate/Cloud Endure
• Understanding on vSphere and Hyper-V Virtualization.
• Working experience with Active Directory.
• Working experience with AWS Cloud formation/Terraform templates.
• Working Experience of VPN/Express route/peering/Network Security Groups/Route Table/NAT Gateway, etc.
• Experience of working with CI/CD tools like Octopus, Teamcity, Code Build, Code Deploy, Azure DevOps, GitHub action.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery Implementations, taking into the consideration of RTO and RPO aspects.
• Candidates with AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications will be preferred.

• He should know how to design, develop, and maintain systems, processes, procedures to deliver a high-quality service design.

• He has to plan, design, and configure the most typical business solutions as needed.
• He has to prepare technical documents and other presentations for multiple solutions areas.
• He has to be sure that the best practices for configuration management are carried our as it was needed.
• He has to work on customer specifications, analyze them, and conduct the best product recommendations associated with the platform

Requirements

• AWS Solution Architect 9-10 Years
• Responsible for managing applications on public cloud (AWS) infrastructure.
• Responsible for larger migrations of applications from VM to cloud/cloud-native.
• Responsible for setting up monitoring for cloud/cloud-native-based infrastructure and applications.
• MUST: AWS Solution Architect Professional certification.
