About the Role

As a PhD-level Software Development Instructor, you will play a critical role in building India’s most advanced undergraduate tech education ecosystem. You’ll be mentoring bright young minds through a curriculum that fuses rigorous academic principles with real-world software engineering practices. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines teaching, mentorship, research alignment, and curriculum innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom instruction in programming, software engineering, and emerging technologies.
• Integrate research-backed pedagogy and industry-relevant practices into classroom delivery.
• Mentor students in academic, career, and project development goals.
• Take ownership of curriculum planning, enhancement, and delivery aligned with academic and industry excellence.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, IT, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
• Strong academic and research orientation, preferably with publications or project contributions.
• Prior experience in teaching/training/mentoring at the undergraduate/postgraduate level is preferred.
• A deep commitment to education, student success, and continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills

• Expertise in Python, Java, JavaScript, and advanced programming paradigms.
• Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, OOP, and Software Engineering principles.
• Excellent communication, classroom delivery, and presentation skills.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Working with technical architects, able to convert the architecture into design and code in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, and NodeJS.

·       Able to generate LLD documents.

·       Ability to write Quality code with minimum defects.

·       Unit Test and following the coding standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

·       5+ years strong programming and logical skills in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, Object Oriented Java script, NodeJS and HTML5

·       Hands on Experience on Java (Spring Boot), and MySQL is mandatory. Must have completed at least 2 full projects using Spring boot and AngularJS.

·       Excellent knowledge and experience in Spring JPA, RESTful webservices implementation.

·       NodeJS experience is value add

·       Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.

·       Must be able to mentor and guide junior technical resources.

·       One who is proactive and come forward with technology related initiatives. Motivated self-starter.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·       Minimum of 4 years of professional Python development experience.

·       Strong expertise in Django framework and its ecosystem.

·       Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.

·       Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

·       Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.

·       Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

·       Experience with React.js and Docker is a plus.

• Provide development and maintenance services for .NET application.
• Develop and implement best practices for .NET programming.
• Review codes and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Identify the key problems and develop a solution within business and technical context.
• Design, develop, test, review and document .NET application programs.
• Evaluate user requests to determine budget, time, feasibility and compatibility of the new or modified program.
• Analyze technical architecture and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with users to analyze and propose application solutions to meet business needs.
• Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle including coding, designing and documentation.
• Develop support processes to integrate .NET applications into in-house and third party applications.
• Prepare and maintain system-level, program-level and user-level documentations.
• Act as a technical lead for development and integration of .NET applications.

As a Software Engineer, you will build and scale Clockwork, creating an engaging experience for our users. As one of the first few engineers, you will work on 0 to 1 type projects, partnering closely with our product, design and business teams to build the future of Clockwork.

• Write, test and deploy code to enhance our product
• Design software systems for new features
• Diagnose bugs and system bottlenecks as our product scales

• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
• Solid engineering, coding and problem solving skills
• Strong product/business sense
• Excited about working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

REQUIREMENTS

1. Expertise in Angular 6/7 with 2+ Years’ experience is MUST.
2. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
3. Experience developing web, mobile or hybrid applications.
4. Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, JSON.
5. Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript frameworks as js.
6. Familiarity with databases as MySQL, MongoDB and web servers with UI/UX design
7. Experience on web application & RESTful web service
8. Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests.
9. Job involves 80-90% hands-on coding.
10. Good to have the knowledge of Cloud deployment AWS and Docker
