PHP AI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP AI Developer with experience in building intelligent web applications, AI-powered automation solutions, and scalable enterprise systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP (Laravel), MySQL, JavaScript, REST APIs, AI integrations (OpenAI/Gemini/LLMs), and workflow automation, along with hands-on experience in developing AI-driven products and business applications. This role offers Permanent Work From Home.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP/Laravel applications integrated with AI capabilities.
• Build AI-powered modules such as chatbots, document processing systems, recommendation engines, and workflow automation tools.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) like OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar AI services into web applications.
• Develop and optimize REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Implement AI features including text generation, summarization, classification, semantic search, and conversational interfaces.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in PHP (Laravel, Core PHP).
• Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with AI APIs and LLM integrations (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.).
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Vector Databases, and AI Workflows.
• Experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Minimum 2+ years of software development experience, including AI-powered application development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing AI-powered SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of chatbot development and intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or FAISS.
• Exposure to enterprise-scale applications and high-traffic systems.
• Experience in ERP, CRM, EdTech, HRMS, or workflow management platforms with AI enhancements

Skills

·      Proven experience as a Technology Lead or Senior Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java Spring Boot, Tomcat, MySQL, RESTful and SOAP APIs, ORM frameworks, Redis, JavaScript, and AngularJS/ReactJS.

·      Solid understanding of application architecture, security principles, design patterns, and industry best practices.

·      Demonstrated capability to lead and mentor development teams through the design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications using Java Spring Boot and related technologies.

·      Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to ensure application stability and performance.

Responsibilities

·      Design and implement high-level and low-level architectures for complex software systems.

·      Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and Business Analysts to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Build and maintain products. Build products and features, through inception, design, implementation and launch, working closely with multiple disciplines across the company. Maintain a high bar for code quality and future proofing. Implement processes for checking in code that maintains a high bar of code quality. You are expected to optimize for a solution that affords the best user experience in a reasonable amount of time while ensuring to allow for adequate security, ability to scale in the future etc. 

Responsibilities

● Design, build and maintain scalable, secure web services and distributed systems

● Design and develop robust solutions for client onboarding, portfolio analytics, tokenized security issuance, authentication, and security

● Build solutions to integrate with APIs of external solutions providers including crypto custodians, exchanges, fund admins etc.

● Architecting and building frontend features in React.js

● Ensuring a highly performant and responsive UI

● Help maintain existing codebase, infrastructure, test coverage, and documentation

● Communicate requirements effectively within and across teams

● Independently work and lead project initiatives in a fast paced environment

Requirements

● 5+ years of work experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similarly senior member of a fast scaling company, ideally building products from ideation to launch with a strong engineering team. Web3 based experience preferred.

● Have experience in rapid prototyping of features across various products. Demonstrable open source contributions and experience with Git advantageous.

● Professional experience with Python, Javascript, Typescript, or Go

● Must have experience building and/or integrating with RESTful APIs

● Working knowledge of Django, FastAPI, or React.js and Redux

● Working knowledge various frontend frameworks and languages such as HTML, CSS

● Experience monitoring and scaling microservice-oriented systems

● Familiarity with websocket architecture and implementation

● Experience working with cloud-native AWS infrastructure and/or Kubernetes
