Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our Media & Entertainment division. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling and possess strong technical skills in video editing. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors, providing exposure to diverse content creation opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into engaging and compelling content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with content creators, producers, and directors to understand project requirements and vision.
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to enhance video quality, including editing for pacing, sound, color correction, and visual effects.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and style across all video content.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software.
- Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an efficient workflow throughout the editing process.
- Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality videos that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Adapt quickly to feedback and make necessary revisions to video edits as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills and creative storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar programs.
- Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, and post-production techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in editing and final output.
- Creative mindset with the ability to bring ideas to life through visual storytelling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, or visual effects is a plus.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time, in-office position located at Malleshwaram Bangalore.
