About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving the strategic growth and commercial success of Company within their assigned territory/Region. This is a leadership role requiring a blend of high-level technical expertise and business acumen. You will mentor a team of Sales Specialists, manage key institutional accounts, and collaborate with horizontal departments (Supply Chain, Marketing, projects, application support) to ensure a seamless customer experience and hit regional revenue targets.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & People Management
- Team Mentorship: Lead, coach, and manage a team of Sales Specialists and Account Managers; conduct regular performance reviews and field-joint visits.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a regional "Go-to-Market" strategy to expand market share in Bioprocess Upstream/Downstream segments.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the regional sales funnel, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and timely closure of high-value capital and consumable projects.
Strategic Account & Stakeholder Management
- Key Account Ownership: Directly manage relationships with "C-suite" executives and senior procurement heads at top-tier Biopharma and Vaccine companies.
- KOL Development: Cultivate a network of industry influencers and Key Opinion Leaders to position company as a thought leader in the CGT and Bioprocess space.
Horizontal Integration & Operational Excellence
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Applications Team for technical trials, Supply Chain for inventory planning, and Marketing for regional lead-generation events.
- Intelligence Gathering: Synthesize field data and competitor moves into actionable insights for the national leadership team.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech/M.Tech or M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Bio-Chemical Engineering. MBA is added advantage.
- Experience: 7–10 years in the Life Sciences/Bioprocess industry, with at least 1–2 years in a people management or team lead role.

solutions around RPA, Gen AI, Agentic AI, etc. The primary objective is to help
organizations reduce human error, lower operational costs, and increase productivity.
Core Responsibilities (As an Individual Contributor)
∙Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identifying and targeting potential clients across
industries like manufacturing (Mid-Market) that rely on high-volume, manual
processes, thus creating qualified pipeline.
∙Consultative Selling: Analysing a prospect's existing business processes to identify
bottlenecks and inefficiencies that can be solved through automation.
∙Solution Demonstrations: Conducting technical presentations and product demos of
BPA tools (e.g., RPA, workflow engines, or AI-driven platforms) to show real-world
value.
∙Account Management & Relationship Building: Maintain strong
relationships with clients to drive adoption and ensure long-term satisfaction.
∙Strategic Collaboration: Working with internal technical teams and subject matter
experts to tailor software solutions that meet specific client needs.
∙Closing & Management: Negotiating contracts, managing the sales pipeline and
providing sales forecasts to management.

∙Education: Typically, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
∙Experience: Proven track record in software sales, specifically in business process
