Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Product Manager – Lending Platform to lead the buildout of HelloTrade’s fintech ecosystem.

You’ll define and deliver the core lending, insurance, and wealth modules—owning the roadmap, integrations, and user experience from concept to scale.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data, compliance, and business teams to ship high-impact financial products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Lending Stack

• Build and scale borrower and partner journeys: onboarding, application, KYC, offer, disbursal, servicing, repayment, and delinquency.
• Develop architecture for LOS, LMS, rule engines, and internal operational tools.
• Integrate with partners: bureaus, NBFCs/Banks, GST, AAs, PAN, CKYC, DigiLocker, BBPS, and others.

2. Free Credit Score Product (Immediate Priority)

• Launch and scale a free credit score module for MSMEs.
• Integrate with credit bureaus (CRIF, Experian, CIBIL) to fetch and display scores and reports.
• Design user education flows on credit health, repayment behavior, and improvement tips.
• Build funnels for upsell into lending and financial wellness products.

3. Insurance & Wealth (Future-Ready Platform Build)

• Design a framework for embedded insurance (term, health, credit-life) with contextual offerings.
• Architect journeys for micro-investments, recurring deposits, or mutual funds for MSMEs.
• Partner with insurance and wealth providers to build APIs and co-branded experiences.
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI and SEBI norms and embed customer suitability logic.

4. Decisioning, Risk & Lifecycle Infrastructure

• Manage rules engines, scorecard integrations, fraud layers, and partner fallback logic.
• Own architecture for lifecycle automation: reminders, upsell triggers, payment follow-ups, and collections.

5. Internal Systems & Ops Tooling

• Build internal CRMs, dashboards, and case management tools for support, credit ops, and collections.
• Define monitoring and alerting layers for partner SLAs, exceptions, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

6. Data, Reporting & Governance

• Define data schema and structures in collaboration with engineering and analytics.
• Enable regulatory and business reporting: bureau pulls, performance metrics, and RBI-ready logs.

7. Cross-Functional Execution

• Collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Business teams.
• Drive alignment on priorities, write clear specs, manage releases, and own platform performance KPIs.

Skill Set

• 5–10 years of experience in lending product roles at fintechs, NBFCs, or banks.
• Proven success in building lending tech stacks and financial services products.
• Strong grasp of APIs, backend architecture, decision systems, and regulatory landscapes.
• Experience scaling products from MVP to full-stack, multi-vertical platforms.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Tech Lead who will own the development of HelloTrade’s fintech platform.

This is a founding engineer + leadership role, where you’ll be hands-on in building scalable systems while shaping the engineering culture and aligning technology decisions with business goals.

The ideal candidate blends strong technical depth with leadership skills—someone who can code, mentor, set engineering standards, and drive delivery in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership

• Own key technical decisions and the overall tech roadmap aligned with HelloTrade’s fintech vision.
• Design scalable, modular, and secure architecture to support multi-product financial journeys.
• Make build-vs-buy and architectural decisions balancing speed, scalability, and compliance.
• Stay current on fintech innovations (AI/ML credit scoring, Account Aggregator APIs, digital KYC) and introduce relevant solutions.

Execution Excellence

• Be hands-on with coding and code reviews while balancing leadership duties.
• Oversee AWS infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security with proactive risk management.
• Deliver features on time and with quality, managing dependencies and trade-offs effectively.

People & Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor developers—setting engineering best practices, coding standards, and review processes.
• Build an engineering culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation.
• Drive agile practices (sprints, standups, retrospectives) for predictable delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams for seamless execution.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS with 3+ years of hands-on development.
• Proven experience leading teams (mentoring, code reviews, sprint leadership).
• Expertise in designing and building scalable APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, database design, and performance tuning.
• Experience with secure authentication, authorization, and partner integrations.
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in fintech or financial services (loans, payments, insurance).
• Familiarity with OCR, AI/ML-driven decision engines, or Account Aggregator APIs.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Prior experience in early-stage or startup environments, scaling teams and systems.
