We are looking for a Product Engineer - Senior Backend Engineer to join our early stage startup with experience in building B2C products.

If you have experience of working in product based companies (preferably startups), and are looking to build exciting things that children across the world will use - come talk to us!

Who are we looking for:

• Experience of 7+ years across product based companies
• Should have worked on building B2C products. Having experience in building edtech products would be a major plus.
• Should be an avid programmer with great problem solving skills.
• Should have a great grasp over NodeJs/Typescript/ AWS microservices/DB design/System Design.
• Should have experience in building scalable server-side systems. Should have significant experience in cloud infrastructure and designing databases.
• Should have knowledge of software architecture, system thinking and design patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality of software products we build
• Author test documentation including test plans, test cases & scenarios and develop automated test suites.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases and setting up of E2E test infrastructure
• Both Manual as well as Automation Testing on backend/frontend E2E testing.
• Work towards sustaining current QA processes and implementing new ones
• Define system test plans to validate all existing feature functionalities configured on system testbeds and automate all test cases
• Verify endurance and scale testing to validate robust feature functionality under stress

Must have:

• Extensively worked on various testing types such as Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, Mobile testing, cross browser compatibility
• Expertise in developing, managing, and implementing E2E testing for core features in Automation frameworks using Selenium/ REST Assured/ APM or equivalent.
• API testing using tools like Postman.
• Experience in writing SQL queries to perform backend data validations

Good To Have :

• Experience in building Automation framework from Scratch
• Familiarity with performance testing using JMeter, Scale and Reliability testing
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working in small teams

iOS Developer

Responsibilities

• work on a disruptive product that’s still in its early stages
• architect, build, iterate, and manage our iOS mobile application.
• translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the DIY App
• mentor other engineers, define our technical culture and help to build a fast-growing team.

Your Super Powers 😁

• experience in product development, architecture, and design for a 2 to 5 years
• proficiency in swift language (Swift 5+ preferred)
• experience in RxSwift is a big plus
• ability to learn and look for ways to improve yourself and the processes around you.
• strong knowledge of the ios framework and the ability to deal with different screen sizes
• proficiency with RESTful API's to connect ios applications to back-end services
• experience with GraphQL is a big plus. We use it a lot 😁
• experience with storage, threading, and performance tuning
• the ability to mentor and support other team members by doing code reviews and applying your experience in process and technical leadership.
• experience working with agile team environments and if you are a self-starter, conscientious member of the team.
