Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

•

Lead and manage SAP MDG projects and workstreams concurrently, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.

•

Drive end-to-end SAP MDG implementations, enhancements, and support initiatives across Material, Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, and Finance master data domains.

•

Partner with business stakeholders, data governance teams, solution architects, and technical teams to define and deliver MDG solutions.

•

Oversee technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.

•

Coordinate cross-functional teams across geographies, vendors, and system integrators.

•

Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards, data quality objectives, and regulatory requirements.

•

Track project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets, providing regular updates to leadership.

•

Drive stakeholder engagement, requirement workshops, issue resolution, and executive communications.

•

Mentor technical and functional team members while promoting delivery best practices and continuous improvement.

Preferred Experience

•

7+ years of SAP experience with 5+ years in SAP MDG delivery and project leadership roles.

•

Strong knowledge of SAP MDG, S/4HANA, ABAP, BRF+, DRF, SAP Integration technologies, and data governance frameworks.

•

Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a global enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & UI: Extend MDG Data Models (MARA/MARC/MARD), configure UI/FPM (Floorplan Manager) feeder classes, and develop custom entities/attributes.
• Rule Engine & Logic: Program complex validation/derivation logic in BRF+ and custom BAdIs (USMD_RULE_SERVICE, USMD_ACC_CHECK).
• Workflow Technicals: Customize and debug Rule-Based Workflows (RBWF) and change request (CR) step configurations.
• Data Replication: Configure and troubleshoot DRF+ (Data Replication Framework), Key/Value Mapping, ALE/IDocs, and OData/SOA web services.
• Integrations & Mass Maintenance: Handle technical integration with external systems (PLM/Catalogues) and manage technical configurations for SAP CMP (Consolidation & Mass Processing).

Must-Have Technical Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP MDG Backend Technical Development (MDG-M specific).
• Strong expertise in BRF+, Data Modeling, FPM / Web Dynpro ABAP, and DRF+.
• Deep knowledge of Core ABAP / OO-ABAP, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and ALE/IDocs.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services.
