Requirement: BPCS & LX Technical Support

A qualified technical consultant shall be identified and assigned to provide BPCS 6.0.04 and Infor LX technical support and development services as defined in the SOW.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience with IBM iSeries / AS400 environments

• Hands-on experience with BPCS ERP and Infor LX

• Strong skills in RPG / RPGLE, CL, and DB2

• Experience supporting manufacturing or supply chain ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve support tickets for BPCS/LX environments

• Troubleshoot production issues and system integrations

• Perform custom development, enhancements, and reporting

• Provide weekly updates on tickets, hours, and resolutions

Availability

• Support during Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

• After-hours support as required with prior approval

The selected resource must comply with client security policies and access requirements and be approved before engagement begins.

Preferred Skills and qualification:

·      6+ years of strong experience in developing and maintaining AS/400 software applications.

·      Experience with multiple programing languages and systems

·      Experience with RPGLE Programming,

·      Experience with ILE Advanced concepts (Procedures, Service programs, Functions, Full Free RPG coding syntax)

·      Experience with SQL concepts and programming.

·      The ability to effectively work independently and as part of a SCRUM team providing direction and mentorship to others as needed.

·      Demonstrated project discipline and experience. Must be organized, focused, and driven toward established deliverable dates. Must be able to design solutions and form/drive related plans.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of AS400-Cobol.
• Familiarity with CL and DB2
• Basic knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in a function or skill.
• Willing to depend on others for instruction, guidance, or direction.

• Propose efficient technical solutions and programming design
• Write technical specifications (COBOL/400)
• Do development and unit testing in COBOL/400
