Position - Video Editor
Exp - 0-3 years (Freshers are most Welcome! )
Job Type - Full Time
Location - Ambattur, Chennai
Summary
The Video Editor primarily focuses on editing short-form video content such as Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, and TikTok clips. This role supports the senior video team with long-form video editing, ensuring engaging, well-polished videos aligned with content strategies.
Formats: YouTube Videos, Shorts and Reel formats, Social Media content.
Key Responsibilities
- Short-Form Video Editing
- Edit and assemble reels, shorts, and other short video formats tailored for social media platforms.
- Apply subtitles, sound effects, motion graphics, and filters to enhance engagement.
- Support for Long-Form Content
- Assist the senior video editor in cutting, sequencing, and refining long-form videos such as YouTube content.
- Prepare rough cuts and incorporate feedback for final versions.
- Asset Management
- Organize raw footage, sound files, and final exports in an efficient file system.
- Ensure all video files are correctly named, stored, and backed up.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with motion graphic designers to integrate animated elements smoothly into videos.
- Coordinate with content creators and social media teams to align edits with messaging and trends.
- Trend Awareness & Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on video editing software features and social media video trends.
- Explore creative editing techniques and new tools to improve video appeal.
- Quality & Deadline Management
- Deliver high-quality videos within set deadlines, maintaining brand standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during editing.
General Responsibilities

- Flag any unclear content, controversial ideas, or doubtful information, messages, queries to the Project Head before proceeding.
- When unsure about any matter, seek clarification instead of making assumptions.
