Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
• Debugging and Testing: Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues and perform unit testing to ensure application quality.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, development processes, and system architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Android Development Experience: 4 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
• Java Expertise: 4 years of experience with Java, including knowledge of Android SDK and core libraries.
• Kotlin Proficiency: 2 years of experience with Kotlin for Android development.
• Android Studio: Proficiency in using Android Studio and related development tools.
• APIs and Integration: Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• UI/UX: Understanding of Android UI/UX design principles and guidelines.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building high-performance mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Familiarity with native build tools, like Android Studio, IntelliJ   
• We are only considering Pune-based candidates who can start immediately / within 30 days

Requirements-

• Experience working with Flutter and Dart is required, as well as a thorough understanding of any other native or cross-platform mobile development frameworks.
• 1+ years of experience with Flutter and Firebase programming and debugging abilities are essential.
• A solid understanding of mobile architecture is required.
• It is preferable if you have experience designing PWA apps.
• Excellent knowledge of MongoDB, REST and JSON, SQLite or Couchbase Mobile, Social API integration, third-party libraries and APIs, and Core location APIs, as well as Google Material Design.
• Third-party API networking and integration
• Knowledge or expertise with any NoSQL database and tools like JIRA, Github, Bitbucket, Trello.

• Strong in Java and OPPs (Object Oriented Programming) Concept
• Knowledge of Android SDK and NDK
• Knowledge of JSON and XML

• Knowledge of SQLite
• Good if Communicating with the server using REST APIs

• Write good quality code, unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
• Should have Experience of Social Integration.
• Ready to take complete ownership of multiple products, work alone on project if required  
• Good knowledge in Android services/Framework layer and its debugging
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Shipped multiple Android Applications that are currently available in the Google Play Store
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms and time/space complexity analysis.

• Good problem solving abilities.

• Ability to communicate well with Product and Engineering Team

• Experience with a start-up would be added advantage.
