Job description

The role of the Sponsorship Manager will be to secure new Sponsorship alliances for existing festivals which has been largely untapped in the past. As part of the team you will be instrumental in establishing best practice in winning new business and creating consultative thought leadership sales packages for big ticket spenders. You will work closely with the Project Heads

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the team you will be instrumental in establishing best practice in winning new business and creating consultative thought leadership sales packages for big ticket spenders. You will work closely with the Project Heads

• Responsible for selling our festivals to prospective sponsors and alliance partners against agreed targets. Work on achieving & fulfilling the set targets by the HOD(Individual& Team targets)

• To contribute towards brand and product positioning and develop market strategies for getting sponsorship for our festivals

• Brainstorming with the production head & the festival team on the festival ideas and then accordingly make the festival pitching and presentation

• Responsible for Relationship building & key account management with the existing clients to get more business

• To understand thoroughly and establish appropriate channels/mediums of reaching the target audience keeping the budget in mind.

• Required to be networked into market to not only connect with prospective sponsors and marketing agencies but keep informed of the competitive environment

• Working towards delivering the set team target and individual targets for the year.

• Guiding the team towards achieving the team targets.

• Liaising with colleagues and team members, Festival Team & Design Team for the marketing collaterals & presentations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience of min 10 years in sponsorship acquisition or sales, with a track record of securing high-value sponsorships. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
• A solid understanding of marketing and branding principles.
• Results-driven with the ability to work independently and meet revenue targets.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sponsorship acquisition.

Your Impact:

• Implements Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud) to meet expected quality standards

• Ensures functional requirements and high-level solution designs are understood and are translated into detailed technical design

• Implement proofs of concept to prove any new technologies, application flows or integration scenarios and identify customizations needed to SFCC platform for meeting client requirements

• Guides the performance tuning and scalability of the ecommerce solution

• Diagnose and solve technical problems during implementation and support phases

Your Skills & Experience:

•  4-8 Years with 2+ years of implementing commerce application on any eCommerce platform in last 3 years

• If you have not worked in eCommerce platform, we can still discuss with you if you are expert in Java/Net and understand REST/SOAP webservices.

• Demonstrate proficiency in build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality
. Contributes to designing, implementing and documenting the build release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the applications

• Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members’ components, test plans and results and help them with gaps

• Collaborate with architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards

• Identifies risks and issues, and help monitor them

• Guides the development of reference and resource materials

• Mentors developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills

• Communicate technical design to the developers and help/guide them in the implementation

• Participates in Agile sprints

• eCommerce platform certification

• Security considerations – OWASP, CSRF, reCAPTCHA etc. – Basic knowledge or experience

• Git Development workflow – Proficient

• Visual Studio Code IDE or Eclipse IDE - Proficient

• Scripting/development experience with Node.js, Mocha/Chai

Hands-on working knowledge and experience is required in:

a. JavaScript, Typescript, NodeJS (Express, NestJs, etc. )

b. Experience working in GCP or AWS or Azure

c. Experience working in Containers & Unix Platforms

d. Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL, etc. )

e. Agile Methodologies (Scrum, TDD, BDD, etc. )

f. Understanding of Microservices Architecture, Domain Driver Design, Test Driven Development and Secure Design patterns and architecture is a must

g. Data Structures and Algorithms using Javascript, Typescript and/or other Programing Languages

h. Strong organizational skills i. Agile Methodologies (Scrum, TDD, BDD, etc. )

Experience with several of the following tools/technologies is desirable:

a. GIT (Bit Bucket, Gitlab, etc. ), Jira, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, SharePoint, Eclipse/IntelliJ.

b. Design Patterns and implementing the Design Patterns

c. Development of Complex Application and System Architectures

d. NoSQL Databases (Redis, Mongo, etc. ) e. Full stack development

f. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines with for example GitHub Actions.

Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus:

a. Other Programming Languages (Java, Python, etc. )

b. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Tools like Jenkins, Git, etc

• Extremely good team player, with strong client/stakeholder management skills and line managerial skills.
• Complete working knowledge of Packaging Technology, Regulatory, Specification, Artwork Management, Mould Management, Rapid Prototyping, Packaging machineries & developmental process.
• Problem solving & bias for action mindset. Should have excellent communication skills and consumer & customer centricity.
• Advance project Management Skills, presentation skills& influencing skills.
• Good networking with Packaging material suppliers, IIP/SIES & other packaging testing laboratories & with Plastic waste management entities such as Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs)& recyclers.
• Basic appreciation of product development principles.  

•  Expertise in implementing and managing Devops CI/CD pipeline. ( either using Jenkins or Azure DevOps ) 
• At least one AWS or Azure Certification
• Terraform Scripting
•  Hands-on experience with git and source code management and release management.
• Experience in DevOps automation tools. And Very well versed with DevOps principles and the Agile Frameworks.
• Working knowledge of scripting using shell, Python, Gradle, Yaml, Ansible or puppet or chef.
• Working knowledge of build systems for various technologies like npm, maven etc. 
• Experience and good understanding in any of Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google cloud.
• Hands on Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting skills with proven abilities in resolving complex technical issues. Experience with working with ticketing tools (Jira & Service now)
• A programming language like Java, Go , NodeJS is a nice to have.

• Work Permit for United Kingdom ( tier 2 visa ) total duration of visa will be 5 years ( first 2 years and then 3 year extension)

• 3+ years experience creating interfaces, large-scale digital experiences, or applications.
• Excellence at designing a brand experience across multiple channels, including web, mobile applications.
• Experience designing for a variety of industries including retail, financial, etc.
• Direct client interaction experience with the ability to build relationships, understand client vision/direction, and present designs and concepts.
• Figma should be core to your toolbox. Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. (Keynote, Google Docs, and other basic skills are a requirement)
• Strong experience using various prototyping tools to help understand the problem, test concepts, and communicate experiences to internal teams and clients.
• Full understanding of how to identify the true needs of users through research, customer journey mapping, user testing and apply the insights to the design strategy and business needs. Successful track record working within interdisciplinary teams in creating great products knowledge of service design, design systems, and agile methodologies.
• Risk-taking in design, pushing past the obvious.

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent, in design, human-computer interaction or a related field, or a combination of education and experience in a relevant field
