Wordpress Developer

We are seeking a talented and NopCommerce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with extensive experience working with the nopCommerce platform. As a NopCommerce Developer, you will play a key role in architecting, developing, and maintaining e-commerce solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance e-commerce solutions using the nopCommerce platform.
2. Customize and extend the functionality of nopCommerce to meet client requirements.
3. Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure the reliability and maintainability of the codebase.
4. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
5. Perform code reviews and provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to nopCommerce implementations.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nopCommerce and e-commerce technologies to continuously improve our solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on e-commerce solutions.
3. Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server.
4. Extensive experience working with the nopCommerce platform, including customization, plugin development, and theme integration.
5. Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
6. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

• Building components for the company's advanced health tech platform using Java, Solr, SpringBoot, DialogFlow
• Communicating effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and solutions effectively
• Participating in technical planning and requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications
• Developing the Code as per the requirements
• Working with product team and constructing the tech roadmap
• Designing, building and scaling the company's backend microservices
• Maintaining code integrity and organization
• Applying all quality requirements to make the code production ready
• Developing and deploying new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Developing documentation related to technical aspects and to facilitate current support, development, upgrades, or migrations
• Designing and building efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Pro actively catching and fixing bugs, and providing support for the back end services
• Managing servers and infrastructure by keeping the lights on and refining the deployment architecture

This person MUST have:

• B.E Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 years experience with the Django framework
• Experience with building APIs (REST or GraphQL) 
• Strong Troubleshooting and debugging skills
• React.js knowledge would be an added bonus 
• Understanding on how to use a database like Postgres (prefered choice), SQLite, MongoDB, MySQL.
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented design and analysis.
• A strong passion for writing simple, clean and efficient code.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git.
• Strong communication skills.

Experience:

• Min 5 year experience
• Startup experience is a must. 

Location:

• Remote developer

Timings:

• 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone.  Typically clients are in California PST Timezone.

Position:

9. Extensive experience of PHP and MySQL.
10. Exposure on Magento 2, CMS and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery.
    
11. Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration,
12. Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards.
    
13. Demonstrable source control experience
    
14. Two or more published websites in E-Commerce
