About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of hands-on expertise in building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in Java, OOPS, Multithreading, Spring concepts, and SQL, and will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using Core Java and Spring frameworks
• Apply advanced Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principles to deliver clean, modular, and reusable code
• Implement and optimize multithreaded applications for high-performance systems
• Work with SQL databases for efficient data modeling, query optimization, and integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to best practices
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development

What you'll do:

·        Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development: Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs and related backend frameworks

Basic Qualifications: 

·        Minimum B.S. / M.S. Computer Science or related discipline from accredited college or University

·        At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering backend applications with Node.js, TypeScript

·        At least 2 years of experience with AWS and/or OpenShift

·        Exposure to some of the following concepts: object-oriented programming, software engineering techniques, quality engineering, parallel programming, databases, etc.

Job Summary:

As a Java Spring Boot Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs. With 2.5+ years of experience, including knowledge in Kotlin, you will work alongside a cross-functional team to build scalable and performant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java and Kotlin code
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps for end-to-end delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2.5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, MVC, and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools

Roles and Responsibilities

Competency Requirements

1. Experience in NodeJS, Java and development using AngularJS / ReactJS
2. Experience in front end frameworks such as Angular.js, React.js, Bootstrap, Foundation etc
3. Experience in client/server application development
4. Knowledge of agile development methodologies
5. Knowledge of unit testing theory

 Configuration, administration, customization, and maintenance of Okta CIAM environments.

• Design and maintain configuration manuals and documentation required to sustain the Okta CIAM platform.

• Review Okta platform configurations to ensure the solution is optimized and secure for business needs.

• Support and resolve system incidents, problems, and changes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with designing and building Okta solution platforms.

• At least one Okta certification in last 2 years - Okta Certified Administrator, Certified Consultant or Certified Developer certification

• Strong understanding of Single Sign On and relevant standards (OIDC, OAuth, SAML)

• 1+ year of development experience using RESTful APIs in any programming language

• Strong communication and documentation skills
