Springer seeks an Operations Intern to join the Technology side of the company. The internship can be onsite in Shanghai or conducted remotely. The start date of the internship is flexible.

Job Highlights:

As an intern for the Business Automation team, you will be focusing on researching and developing tools and workflow that automate some parts of our business automation. As business automation is important throughout the firm, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across Springer.

What you will do as an intern:

Analyze business processes by working closely with other business team to understand the processes and identify areas that can be automated.

Design software solution that can automate business processes, mostly involving researching new automation tools.

Test and debug automation flows to ensure they function as intended.

Provide technical support to the business team and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Interns will have group calls with the director and supervisors regularly for up-to-date and constructive feedback

Technical and legal Information:

The internship enrollment period is flexible. The expected hours are 20 per week for ~3 months. Upon completion, you will receive an internship confirmation letter, or you can apply to your school for internship credit.

Strong Lead / Manager - Product Design (UI/UX) Profile

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have hands-on experience across the full product design lifecycle — from rapid prototyping through final hand-off — for both web and mobile applications

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have 1+ year of experience in team leading with managing and overseeing design for high-impact consumer products

Mandatory (Skill 1): Must have exceptional UI skills combined with deep mastery of UX, with demonstrated ability to deliver world-class visual and interaction design across web and mobile platforms

Mandatory (Skill 2): Must have proven expertise in building and evolving scalable design systems and UI patterns that ensure brand parity and consistency across platforms

Mandatory (Skill 3): Must have proficiency in industry-standard tools — Figma, Principle, and Adobe Suite

Mandatory (Stakeholder Management): Must be comfortable partnering directly with C-suite / executive leadership, Product, and Engineering leaders — with the ability to clearly articulate complex design challenges to non-design stakeholders and influence product direction through user-centric logic and data-driven insights

Job Title: Automation Test Lead

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Lead to spearhead our QA efforts in both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Selenium with Java, the ability to lead a team of 10+ testers, and hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch. Exposure to Cypress and a working knowledge of AI in testing would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of QA engineers across manual and automation testing streams
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch
• Define test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts
• Ensure timely execution and reporting of all QA activities
• Guide and mentor team members on test automation best practices
