Position Description:

Our sales professionals focus on face to face sales presentations as they provide our clients an

opportunity to know IndiaMART & value addition IndiaMART can bring to their respective business.

This position allows you to build new clients for the organization, build rapport and trust in both yourself and the company. Our top sales professionals are passionate and driven in order to produce top results, all the while maintaining integrity.

The job encompasses complete P&L responsibility of a Branch comprising of 20-30 people. He shall be responsible to plan, execute and monitor the sales operations with the objective of attaining accelerated growth of new client acquisition in line with the laid down processes. The role will involve recruiting & managing direct sales force in the Branch, increasing the productivity level & overall efficiency of the sales team and ensuring target achievement as per the defined targets.

Job Summary:

• Monitoring and analysis of key data of the region allocated including sales figures, sales personnel, productivity ratios, client’s work status and receivables.
• Accurately forecasts weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue streams.
• Identifying the opportunity & problem areas, preparing the action plan for achieving the key
• sales figures and presenting the Branch Sales reports. Actively driving and ensuring sale target
• achievement, management of sales support function and timely work completion of customers.
• Recruit, develop & ensure Retention of respective team by formulating their development plans, meeting their training needs and communicating with them on a regular basis.
• Record performance metrics and monitoring key parameters to increase the overall productivity of the sales personnel.
• Drive performance incentive structure and sales promotion schemes.
• Collecting market feedback and provide periodic updates to the management for formulation of policy & strategy.
• To penetrate all targeted accounts and originate sales opportunities for the company’s products and services.
• To set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations on daily basis with his/her team.
• To ensure systematic follow-up with the client organizations to take the sales pitch to timebound closure.
• To ensure that all payments are collected as per the company’s payment terms.
• Ensure adherence to sales processes and requirements.
• Conduct performance review for his/her team on regular basis.

• Proficient in R and Python
• Work experience 1+ years with at least 6 months working with Python
• Prior experience with building ML models
• Prior experience with SQL
• Knowledge of statistical techniques
• Experience with working on Spatial Data will be an added advantage

Qualification – 

MBA (Marketing) with Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or Information Technology

• Technology Acumen
• Must have a good understanding of digital technologies of Web/Mobile App Development, Cloud Services (especially AWS), Big Data and DevOps
• Overall messaging and branding
• Should be able to create brand offerings, brand positions, brand promise, messaging for target audiences with their trust and business.
• Digital Marketing
• Enhance social media presence with unique 10 posts/month and post them to 2-3 channels. Each post would be published for 5-10 times in a month across channels.
• 3rd party profiles and Management
• Shall create profiles on listing sites like Clutch, GoodFirms etc and help in collecting client reviews
• Lead Generation
• Should run targeted email and social outreach campaigns to target audience and bring appointments for your sales team to close
• Domestic/International Exposure
• Should have experience in dealing with international market & businesses (especially USA and Europe) as ours’ B2B market
• Content Strategy and Execution
• Should be able to define the content strategy and curate the quality content – posts, blogs, newsletters, website, etc.
• Should be able to help on working on proposal and sales
• Should be able to nurture the relationships with customers

Roles & Responsibilities –

• Demand/Lead generation through outbound marketing activities. Researching organizations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets.
• Prospect Identification, Nurturing & Closure. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
• Lead Generation and Management by Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings / Cold Calling
• Strong lead generation skills (establishing initial contact and gathering information)
• Generate new leads and set appointments for the Business Development Managers, within a defined territory, for specific lines of business, through telemarketing
• One would typically be involved in setting up a volume of qualified appointments to increase the chances of more contract conversion and ensure the healthy sales pipeline. 
• Researching Organizations and Individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
• New Business Acquisition 
• Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products
• Developing quotes and proposals
• Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in-person
• Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met

• Maintain and expand the database of prospects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Clearly and effectively communicates the Company's Solutions to prospects
• Technology selling experience
• Experience with online demos and conducting virtual meetings
• Blend of Startup and MNC culture is an add on
• Self-starter who can function both individually and as part of a team 
• Should visualize the big picture about the product and the partners' requirements
