Position Name: Network Software Developer

Experience: 4 to 8 Years 

Work Mode: Work from Bangalore office (near Bellandur) all 5 days. 

Mandatory: 

1. 4+ years of work experience in Networking domain. 
2. Highly proficient in C and Linux environment.
3. Experience in working on Linux based large code base. 
4. Hands-on experience in working OpenWrt based router firmware. 
5. Hands on experience with IP and lower layer networking protocols.

Great to Have: 

• Experience in working on Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets. 
• Experience in Linux device drivers and device trees.
• Experience in creating and applying Linux kernel patches.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 2 years of related ASIC design verification experience. Strong academic backgrounds with relevant knowledge considered.

Skills:

• Experience in IP design verification flow of ASIC/SoC design (e.g., simulation, verification, RTL synthesis).
• Advanced lab experience (e.g., ATE, high-speed interface IP bring-up).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with peers from different geographies.
• Proficiency in UVM and SystemVerilog.
• Good to Know: PCIE and CXL specifications and design verification.

Preferred Experience:

• Technical knowledge of Interface IPs such as PCIe, Ethernet Protocols, Specification, Design, Verification, and Implementation.
• Proven track record in meeting tight schedules and handling multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in various ASIC design cycles, including HIP/SIP integration into high-scale SoCs, design verification flows, physical implementation, SI/PI, and silicon bring-up in the lab.

The Head - Artificial Intelligence & Embedded Systems plays a pivotal role in leading the labs strategic vision and operational excellence, fostering a culture of innovation and "learning by doing" among students. This individual is responsible for setting the labs strategic direction, managing a team of stream leaders, and ensuring the labs success in bridging the gap between academia and industry. As a thought leader and brand ambassador, the Head of the lab promotes the labs focus areas both internally and externally, embodying the qualities of leadership and innovation that inspire students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

 Vision and Strategy:

 Develop and communicate a clear vision for the Innovation Labs, aligning with the institution’s strategic objectives.

 Set strategic goals for the lab, including defining key areas of focus, innovation strategies, and research priorities.

 Ensure the labs activities contribute to the broader academic and research missions of the institution.

 Leadership and Management:

 Lead and manage a team of stream leaders, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

 Drive a culture of "learning by doing", encouraging students and mentors to engage in hands-on, experiential learning. Impact key outcomes like placements, hackathon wins, patents etc.

 Oversee the labs operations, ensuring resources are effectively allocated and managed to support its goals.

 Ensure that the academia-innovation labs gap is bridged. 

 Innovation Lab - Industry Interface:

 Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, facilitating collaborations that enhance the labs research and innovation projects.

 Serve as a key liaison between the lab and academic departments, promoting interdisciplinary industry relevant research and learning opportunities.

 Lead initiatives to secure funding, sponsorship, and partnerships that support the labs activities and growth.

 Brand Ambassador and Thought Leadership:

 Act as a brand ambassador and thought leader, representing the Innovation Labs at conferences, seminars, and public forums.

 Promote the labs achievements and projects through various channels, enhancing its reputation and visibility.

 Foster a network of alumni, industry leaders, and academic peers to support and engage

with the labs work.

 Mentorship and Role Modeling:

 Serve as a mentor and role model for students and mentors, inspiring them to pursue innovation and excellence.

 Encourage the development of leadership skills among lab members, particularly stream leaders and emerging talents.

 Support a learning environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and personal growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

 Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business

Administration) or equivalent experience in innovation management.

 Proven leadership experience in managing research or innovation labs, particularly in an academic or similar setting.

 Deep technical expertise in AI/ML and/or embedded systems with a passion for continuous learning.

 Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

 Excellent relationship-building skills, with experience in academia-industry partnerships.

 Demonstrated success in securing funding, sponsorships, or partnerships.

 Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, capable of engaging a wide range of audiences.

Pay Scale: As per norms

∙ Computer Science related Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 

∙ Min 2 years of experience on GCP / AWS / Azure cloud system ( Overall 5+ years of experience) 

∙ Familiarity with LAMP stack technologies, experience supporting 

∙Must be capable of working on Linux System. 

∙ Familiarity with SQL, Apache, File storage, Load Balancers and Agile methodologies ∙ Knowledge of shell scripts, Linux system administration. 

∙ Strong DNS management and automation background 

∙ Strong scripting (bash, php, perl) skills 

∙ Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting 

∙ Clear communication and documentation of projects and procedures 

∙ Strong problem solving skills 

∙ Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, dependencies, deliverables, milestones and resource allocation and management in projects. 

∙Strong Cloud Architecture experience.

Responsibilities: 

∙ Set up technical server infrastructure, providing technical assistance to development teams, monitoring site performance, and troubleshooting issues when they arise.

∙ Set up and maintain a development server environment and a live server environment with a process for testing and deploying changes to live sites. 

∙ Take an active role in designing, implementing and maintaining a scalable and robust enterprise server environment. 

∙ Administer Apache web server, Load balancer and MySQL Server 

∙ Work on System Security and IPTable configuration 

∙ Optimize servers for high traffic, security, and other system issues. ∙ Evaluate and propose new or improved system architecture. 

∙ Document system configuration, processes, and procedures. 

∙ Share responsibility with team members for rotating on-call duties.
