AM:PM is a news platform built for short-form video reels for Gen Z and millennials who want to stay informed without sitting through a panel of five people agreeing with each other for 40 minutes. We go deep without going slow. We understand internet culture because we live in it, not because we read a report about it.

Why this role matters

The internet produces thousands of stories every hour. The challenge isn't finding content, it's finding the right content. This role exists to identify newsworthy videos, trending conversations, and cultural moments, verify what matters, and package them into content people actually want to click, watch, and share.

What you will own

1. Scout newsworthy videos, creator content, and trending conversations across multiple platforms.
2. Identify stories and moments worth publishing on AM:PM.
3. Research and fact-check information before it reaches our audience.
4. Write compelling headlines, video titles, push notifications, captions, and social copy.
5. Work closely with the editorial and video teams to package stories for maximum reach and engagement.
6. Stay on top of politics, business, technology, entertainment, sports, and internet culture to ensure AM:PM is always ahead of the conversation.
7. Move fast without compromising accuracy, credibility, or editorial standards.

Who you are

• 0-2 years of experience through internships, freelance work, journalism, digital media, content or editorial roles.
• You instinctively know where trends and stories break first.
• You can write headlines and notifications that make people stop scrolling.
• You have strong news judgment and understand the importance of fact-checking.
• You are internet-native, curious, resourceful, and obsessed with what's happening online.
• Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate within commutable distance.

• 10+ years of experience in data science, marketing analytics, or applied measurement, with 4+ years directly managing and developing data scientists.
• Deep expertise in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM): methodology, tooling, business integration, and stakeholder communication.

Java Developer

As a senior technical member of the team, you will be expected to lead the team in the design, architecture, and implementation of high-quality, well-architected software products with a specific focus on cloud, distributed systems, scalability, elasticity and SLA rollups into each component. In this role, you are expected to interact with Senior Architects, Product Managers, Solution Architects and occasionally, with Partners and customers to discuss and collaborate on strategies for enhancing features and coming up with next-generation products. Critical thinking and strong leadership skills are a must as the candidate will be involved in leading a team and making crucial road map decisions.
