Currently, we are working on building a holiday marketplace. User-generated content, Community & Social, messaging, search, Ai and personalization products.Current tools and technologies include :- Java, Kotlin- Android SDK and tools, JUnit, SQL, Eclipse- HTTPS, JSON, OAuth- GITRole & Responsibilities :- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code- Build features that will reach millions of users across 9 languages, 24 countries, and over 15 million Android users- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Android code- Ensure all scenarios and cases are through and covered along with the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.- Command of memory management, view hierarchy, battery optimization and in-depth experience with multithreaded and networked applications- Focus on Material Design principles and pixel-perfect implementation of design into code- Stay current with the fast-changing landscape of Android development and best practices- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to create an elegant and intuitive experience for usersWhat You Get From Us :Success is what you make it. User-generated content, Community & Social, messaging, search, Ai and personalization products.As a VP Engineering, you will lead a team of 40 engineers while working with leaders to create and implement the platform and product vision for Tripoto. You will work with our engineers on the ground along with product teams on creating roadmaps, with an emphasis on execution, as well as attracting and mentoring talent. You will stay technical, leading engineers across the stack to bring an end-to-end solution to life - digging into the complex but rewarding world of solving real problems.Leadership, Management, And Relationship Building Skills :- Strong business judgment, analytical acumen, communication and presentation skills necessary for relationship building with business leaders and teams across all levels of the organization to quickly create productive collaborations.- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills - servant leader with the ability to collaborate, leading through influence across a complex, global organization to drive direction. Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.- Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand Superior organizational skills and an affinity for detail. Proven ability to recruit, motivate and develop a superior team and establish a clear definition of functional excellence.Technical / Professional Competencies :- Minimum 8+ years of senior level, cross-functional leadership roles in Product based technology companies including business strategy, product management, engineering, and operations.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. MS or MBA preferred.- Experience with high-performance websites catering to millions of daily traffic is a plus.- Experience with web technologies and microservices architecture, Java/ Python/PHP, Linux, Apache, MySQL, Redis, javascript, ajax, etc.- Experience and understanding of a wide range of client-side technologies including JavaScript, Angular, ReactS, etc. is an advantage- Act as a thought leader for technology-enabled business opportunities, in addition to partnering in strategic planning, leading enterprise transformation through technology and evolving enterprise architectures.- Develop and maintain an appropriate organizational structure that supports the needs of the business.- Establish functional goals, objectives, and operating procedures.- Demonstrate - Organizational Agility- by balancing the role of a strategist with urgency while simultaneously managing the delivering results in a growing and fast-paced environment.At Tripoto, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly.
