Key Responsibilities

•     Design, develop, and implement backend services using Java (latest version), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
•     Participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and support.
•     Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, DevOps, Product) to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
•     Integrate APIs and manage data flow between services and front-end systems.
•     Work on cloud-based deployment using AWS or GCP environments.
•     Ensure performance, security, and scalability of services in production.
•     Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and best practice implementations.

Required Skills

•     Strong hands-on experience with Core Java (latest versions), Spring Boot, and Microservices.
•     Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and distributed systems.
•     Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) for containerization and orchestration.
•     Working experience or strong conceptual understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).
•     Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment automation.
•     Familiarity with security best practices, logging, and monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills

•     Experience with end-to-end deployment on AWS or GCP.
•     Familiarity with payment gateway integrations or fintech applications.
•     Understanding of DevOps concepts and infrastructure-as-code tools (Added advantage).

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java (8/11+), Spring Boot, and building scalable, real-time data pipelines using Kafka.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement Kafka-based messaging and streaming solutions
• Optimize Kafka performance (topics, partitions, consumers)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable microservices
• Ensure code quality and maintain best practices in a distributed environment

Required Skills:

• 6+ years in Java development
• 3+ years of hands-on Kafka experience (producers, consumers, streams)
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
• Familiarity with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and stream processing
• Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Person should have strong knowledge in -

1. Core Java,

5. SOAP and REST Webservices

6. Application Security.

Person should have 4 to 6 Years of work experience in Java and the above-mentioned related technology.

Person should have good Oracle Database knowledge and have good communication skills.

Having work experience in BFSI domain will added advantage

Person needs to work from Mumbai location and also available to join the office

• Experience in either of these Relational DB’s MS SQL Server / PostgreSQL / AWS Aurora DB / MySQL / Oracle / NOSQL DBs (MongoDB / DynamoDB / DocumentDB) in an application development environment and eagerness to switch DB.
• Design database tables, views, indexes
• Write functions and procedures for Middle Tier Development Team
• Work with any front-end developers in completing the database modules end to end (hands-on experience in parsing of JSON & XML in Stored Procedures would be an added advantage).
• Query Optimization for performance improvement
• Design & develop SSIS Packages or any other Transformation tools for ETL

• Banking / Insurance / Retail domain would be a plus.
• Interaction with a client a plus

Responsibilities

Understand systems enabling third party integration 

Translate business requirements to the APIs and SDKs exposed by these systems. Figure out the optimum interfaces to interact with these. 

Build generic connectors to interact with these technologies. 

Design, implement, deploy and maintain the connectors. 

Minimum Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields. 

Experience needs to be around 8+ years 

Strong problem-solving skills. 

Ability to understand the technology and its APIs in quick time. 

Strong design pattern fundamentals. 

Good core java skills like Multi-threading, collection framework. 

Good communication and mentorship skills 

Ability to put together architecture diagrams and designs 

• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, algorithm design,
• Proficiency with Java
• 1+ years of experience contributing to architecture and design in a product setup
