About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong Playwright and TypeScript experience to join our growing QA engineering team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automating complex web applications, building scalable automation frameworks, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate automation development and testing productivity.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with developers, product teams, and clients to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Automate complex web application workflows, including dynamic elements, asynchronous behavior, and multi-step user journeys.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and robust test automation solutions following industry best practices.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and test environments.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and AI-assisted automation techniques to accelerate test development and improve test coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation failures and provide clear root-cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving automation standards and best practices.
• Ensure automation reliability across multiple browsers and environments.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript.
• Experience automating complex web applications with dynamic UI components.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals.
• Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, including functional testing, regression testing, and test strategy.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using AI tools or AI-assisted development to accelerate automation development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Sales

• Developing, improving existing sales and business plans.
• Lead generation-Planning and execution.
• Develop sales proposals, Quotations & pricings.
• Identify and address existing challenges and problem areas.
• Researching and evaluating existent business structure by applying various business analysis tools, formulating end-to end sales solutions and streamlining operations.

Government Liaising

• In this role of liaison, you should have cultivated contacts outside the vertical chain of command to collect information useful for our organization.
• Liaising with government offices to taking over sales for the company.
• Interact with other industry peers, liaise with local bodies & government authorities to develop the new business.
• Acts as a liaison between the legislative entities and the organization, responsible for any related queries and frame a network with them.

Client Management

• Constantly interacting with prospects and maintaining cordial business relationship with key clients.
• Developing an in-depth understanding of client requirements and translating the same in a tangible manner to the development team.
• Constant audit of developmental activities and client requirements, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Planning and ensuring deliveries are made by the proposed deadline.
• Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
• Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

Business Development

• Analyse market trends and accordingly develop sales plans
• Identify, negotiate and Onboard channel partner.
• Build revenue and sales business plan for each assigned channel partner to measure success and the channel partner
• Leverages the organization’s relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.

Team Management

• Should have Team Management and building skills to take charge of the sales team
• Developing reporting team into valuable sales people
• Continuously monitor existing sales team & ensure delivery of targets.

The individual will be the go-to person for developing concepts, graphics and creating an appropriate design language for the brands. Creating visual elements to deliver the communication efficiently and aesthetically pleasing manner would be needed the most.

•  Coordinate with the account managers to discuss the brand requirements.
•  Get a detailed brief to interpret the client’s needs and develop a creative concept that suits their purpose.
•  Creating drafts of design with the briefs available and through data research.
•  Presenting final output of creative concepts to the account managers.
•  Working with a wide range of media tools and software.
•  Working as a part of team with account leads, copy writers, technical dept. and of course the design team.
•  Updated with current fashion of design trends, application packages, visual arts, time limits and anything that impacts the design.
•  Creating design layouts and concepts as per layout principles and design concepts.
