UI Developer - HTML5/CSS3/Javascript

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and React JS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

• Maintain code integrity and organization.

• Develop new user-facing features using React JS.

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

• Participate in team meetings and discussions to understand user needs and functionalities.

• Perform code reviews and improve and maintain code quality.

• Work closely with product management and back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure applications are current and competitive.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

• Strong proficiency in Java and React JS.

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.

• Experience with React JS workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Good project management skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Responsibilities:

• Work on design and develop scalable solutions using efficient Design Patterns
• Adept in handling Non-functional requirements (performance etc.)
• Excellent aesthetic capability with UX designing and development experience
• Have a good understanding of all aspects of the application like rendering big datasets, fetching data using and authentication.
• Identify improvement areas within the application and work to implement the same
• Flexibility in adapting to team requirements

Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of UX and responsive UI design with an emphasis on intuitive design
• Ability to write cross-browser and standards-compliant code that meets flexibility, scalability, and performance requirements
• Highly skilled at front-end engineering using a client-side technology stack including AngularJS, JQuery, HTML, CSS
• 5+ experience in Angular developing responsive Single Page application
• Experience working with REST API
• Experience working with JSON
• Experience with SVN/Git, Node.JS
• Knowledge of Agile and/or SCRUM methodologies
• Dedicated, self-driven and willing to take responsibility and ownership of the application
• Strong Problem identifying and solving ability and excellent communication skills

Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript, HTML, Bootstrap, Material UI, CSS3/SCSS, Webpack, NPM, NVM, Visual Studio Code

Knowledge/Experience on Restful APIs integration.

Unit testing with Jasmine or an equivalent framework

Experience or Knowledge in developing complex reusable component libraries such as complex grids, spreadsheet components etc.,

Strong in UI/UX standards implementation

Understanding of browser fundamentals and Page Optimizations

Experience working with Git and Azure

Your responsibilities:

We have three portals for different types of users and they are written in Angular. Your primary responsibility will be to provide impeccable user experience to the users on all forms of devices. You will be leading the effort of overhaul of one of the portals which we want to partly rewrite. Your Angular, JavaScript and design skills will matter the most here. Apart from this, you will be involved in all design discussions and code reviews and expected to give your inputs to ensure the best frontend development practices are followed. You will support your team members when they are facing challenges, and mentor them when appropriate.

Must-have Skills:

• 4-8 years of total experience
• 2+ years of experience in Angular. You must be pro at it. The team will be looking up to you for making most out of Angular.
• Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap
• Excellent Javascript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6 and TypeScript
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• Responsive design methodologies and techniques

Good-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with UI testing and automation frameworks
• Experience of Chart.js
• Experience of ReactJS
