What is the role?

Xoxoday is looking for a candidate who has a strong background in the design and implementation of scalable architecture and a good understanding of Algorithms, Data structures, and design patterns. Candidates must be ready to learn new tools, languages, and technologies. We are offering hybrid / remote options as well.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 4 -7 years of experience as a software developer.
• At Least 3 years of experience in .net core C#, AWS stack, MS SQL Server, MVC, NodeJS experience is a plus
• Strong working knowledge in distributed event-driven messaging architecture/platform
• Strong knowledge in data access layer especially ability to work with stored procedure
• Established and stimulated software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software.
• Production experience with AWS stack
• Fluent English speaker

Preferred Qualifications:l

• Experience working with OOP languages.
• Experience designing and developing Microservices and SOA.
• Experience working with AWS Kinesis, Lambda, SQS, S3, ElastiCache, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, EventBridge, RDS, CloudWatch, APIGateway
• Experience designing and building high-performance scalable web services.
• Experience in REST API design and implementation.
• Experience in unit testing, test automation, and continuous delivery.
• Experience with stream-processing and message-broker software.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company’s staffing needs. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and implement effective recruiting strategies that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
• Create and post compelling job descriptions across various job boards and social media platforms.
• Source candidates through various channels including job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and networking events.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and schedule interviews with hiring teams.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Build a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Participate in employer branding initiatives and job fairs.
• Track recruitment metrics to optimize hiring efficiency (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire).
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in [industry].
• Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing techniques.
• Familiarity with ATS software (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).

Desired Candidate Profile

JOB PROFILE : SHOPIFY DEVELOPER

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a similar field
• 2+ years of experience developing within the Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms
• 2+ years of experience in front-end technologies including, but not limited to, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, XML
• Troubleshooting & debugging skills
• Interest in staying current and applying the most current best practices
• Able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment
• Has a true passion for design and technology
• A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
• Positive attitude, high energy, and love for broadening web development skill set

RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Collaborating with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences
• Generating custom-tailored Shopify themes, and altering pre-existing templates
• Working closely with project managers to deploy project requirements
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address their specific needs and requirements at a moment's notice
• Understanding business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation

• Responsible for collecting all in-scope business requirements
• Able to prioritize requirements and negotiate on deployment timeframes on behalf of the development team
• Ability to perform detailed analysis to ensure all aspects of the business requirement are understood
• Able to formalize business requirements, ready for two way communication business communications up and technical communications down
• Capable of managing all non-technical aspects of the new requirements
• Capable of working with the test team to develop/ review test scripts and profile of test data
• Able to produce ad-hoc SQL queries/ ad-hoc reports that can be used to monitor success of the new requirement by ensuring data is being created as it should
• Must have worked on medium to large size custom application development projects and has exposure to all phases of the SDLC
• Experience in Insurance Domain is a must
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools
