Hiring: IT Operations & Helpdesk Engineer (3–5 Years)

📍 Location: [Bangalore / Hybrid] 

We are looking for a hands-on IT Operations Engineer who will anchor our internal IT helpdesk while managing servers, backups, DR drills, and cloud infrastructure. This role is responsible for day-to-day IT stability across endpoints, servers, and Azure environments.

Key Activities

Internal IT Helpdesk (Primary Anchor)

·       Act as the single point of contact for internal IT support.

·       Resolve L1/L2 issues (laptops, OS, network, access, software installs).

·       Manage onboarding/offboarding IT setup.

·       Track tickets, SLAs, and recurring issues.

Infrastructure & Servers

·       Install and maintain Windows & Linux servers.

·       Maintain the centralized IT asset inventory.

·       Support manual and automated application deployments

·       Handle patching, upgrades, performance monitoring.

Cloud Administration (Azure)

·       Manage VMs, storage, networking.

·       Maintain access controls and security configurations.

Backup & DR Readiness

·       Manage and test backup processes.

·       Conduct periodic DR drills to support organizational continuity standards.

·       Maintain recovery runbooks and documentation.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer with 7+ years of experience in testing scalable, event-driven microservices and real-time data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate and ensure quality of microservices-based architectures.
• Test real-time data pipelines built using Kafka and CDC tools (e.g., Debezium).
• Work with graph databases (Neo4j) to analyze and verify complex data relationships.
• Perform API testing using REST Assured.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve overall product quality and reliability.

• Software Design and Development: Lead and contribute to the design, architecture, and development of software applications within the "I" domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to define requirements and specifications for software projects. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them in best practices, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Act as a subject matter expert in software design principles, programming languages, and development methodologies. • System Integration: Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate software components with hardware systems or existing software infrastructure. Ensure seamless integration and compatibility of software modules. • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Review code written by other team members to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and maintainability. Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects. • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and user manuals. • Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to the "I" domain. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Identifying web-based user interactions.
• Developing and implementing highly - responsive user interface components using React concepts.
• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React.js workflows.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.

React.js Developer Requirements:

• 1-3 Years Previous experience working as a React.js Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, bootstrap and material design.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
• Experience in Next.js, Ant design, Node.js and Python will add extra advantage but not mandatory
• Experience with user interface design.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Own definition and implementation of API interfaces (REST and GraphQL). We take pride in our 100% open API with over 600 endpoints.
• Implement simple solutions to complex business logic that enables our merchants to manage financials, orders and shipments across millions of transactions.
• Build reusable components and packages for future use.
• Translate specs and user stories into reviewable, test covered patches.
• Peer review code and refactor existing code.
• Integrate with our eCommerce partners (Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon), shipping partners (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL) and EDI.
• Manage Kubernetes and Docker based global deployment of our infrastructure.

Requirements
