We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with hands-on experience in the Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) domain to develop clear, accurate, and high-impact documentation for identity security products and solutions. The role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts into well-structured content for technical, business, and compliance-focused audiences.
The ideal candidate will work closely with product management, engineering, security architects, and customer-facing teams to support product adoption, regulatory alignment, and market positioning.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product documentation including user guides, admin guides, API documentation, release notes, and implementation manuals for IGA solutions.
- Author solution briefs, white papers, technical blogs, and knowledge-base articles related to UAR, access certifications, role management, provisioning, SoD, and audit reporting.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to understand new features and translate them into customer-ready documentation.
- Create compliance-aligned documentation supporting regulatory and audit frameworks such as SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and internal access controls.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, version control, and alignment with product roadmap and release cycles.
- Simplify complex identity and access management concepts for diverse audiences, including CISOs, auditors, IT administrators, and business reviewers.
- Maintain documentation standards, templates, and style guides.
- Review and update existing documentation to reflect product enhancements and evolving identity security best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in cybersecurity, IAM, or IGA domains.
- Strong understanding of Identity Governance concepts such as User Access Reviews (UAR), access certification, entitlement management, role lifecycle, and least privilege.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with SMEs including product managers, developers, and security teams.
- Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems (e.g., Confluence, Markdown, DITA, MadCap Flare, or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple documentation streams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
