Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related field is preferred.

• Must have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in PostgreSQL.

• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts.

• Knowledge & hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Java, and Spring Framework is a must.

• Additional knowledge of JDBC, Apache TomCat Server & relevant open-source technologies is required.

• Must have experience with Bootstrap CSS, jQuery, etc.

• Basic Understanding of the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Pattern, JDBC (Java Database

Connectivity), and RESTful web services.

• Experience in handling external and embedded databases.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintaining the Database, creating efficient queries, and understanding and improving the current database structure.

• Develop new modules, patches & Updates/upgrades for an existing application (developed in house by the client)

• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.

• Maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.

• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.

• Write well-designed, testable code.

• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.

• Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

Additional Job requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Math or equivalent
• BS in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional software development experience: designing, developing, and delivering software written in Java, C#, or C++, web development.
• Knowledgeable in object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience building highly scalable and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service-oriented architecture and application/services development
• Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking

Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 2-7 Years of Experience
• Expertise in software design and development
• Proficiency with at least one Object Oriented language (e.g. Java)
• Have knowledge about Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
• A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
• Experience with building high-performance, highly available and scalable distributed systems
• Experience with API Design, ability to architect and implement an intuitive customer and third-party integration story
• Ability to think and analyse both breadthwise (client, server, DB, control flow) and depth-wise (threads, sessions, space-time complexity) while designing and implementing services

Job Description

The candidates for senior development role will perform the following responsibilities:

• 3 - 6 Years of Experience in Product Development - Experience in Java (8 or 11+), Spring (4+), Spring Boot (2.4+) is a must.

• Develops complex, well-backed and bug-free products.
• Estimates accurately.
• Takes well-reasoned tech decisions keeping in mind goals and trade-offs
• Become a go-to person in more than one area.
• Provide technical mentoring to team

• Demonstrates excellent problem solving & debugging skills

Ideal Candidate Profile :

• Solid experience in Java, Spring Boot, hibernate is a must.
• Solid experience in Java Multithreading, Streams, and Lambda Functions is a must.
• Solid understanding of Apache Products.
• Should have experience in cloud computing (AWS is desired).
• Has an ability to quickly learn and contribute in multiple codebases
• Overcomes roadblocks and requires minimal oversight
• Takes initiatives to fix issues/tech debts before assigned to him/her
• Able to deep dive into the codebase and advise QA of possible regression impact
• Communicates tech decisions through design docs and tech talks
• Has delivered projects with end-to-end accountability
• Keeps track of industry trends and introduces the right tech/tools for a given job
• Excellent understanding of software engineering practices, design patterns, data structures, algorithms
• Experience in product driven organization

• A Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in software product development.
• Excellent in Data structure, Algorithms & Problem-solving skills.
• Should be willing to code in Node.js/Java/Python/ROR/Golang
• Write extensive, efficient code to address complex modules and that handles interaction between multiple components.
• Customer-focused, react well to changes, work with teams and able to multi-task.
• Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast growing and start-up workplace.
