Technical Support Manager

Position Summary:

The intern – business development position will assist sales and marketing team within simulationHub division of CCTech. Main responsibility will lead generation activities through various media and channels and setting up product demo calls with potential customers. This is a fixed tenure position of 6 months extendable to 9 months.

Some key aspects of this role are good verbal skills, writing communication abilities, and consistency in maintaining lead generation database. Some prior knowledge of experience of technical concepts related to engineering simulation software may be beneficial. 

Responsibilities:

• Generate for unqualified leads with contact details
• Maintain unqualified lead database in HubSpot CRM
• Search for growth opportunities throughout client interactions
• Immediately get in touch with leads obtained through marketing initiatives
• Cultivate leads through various marketing channels
• Setup customer meetings to ensure communication between technical team and key account personnel at potential customer
• Participate in outbound sales activities like communication with new and existing customers by email, social media, and phone.

Education and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, marketing, business, or a related discipline
• Interested in technology field particularly engineering analysis and simulations
• Shows a sense of urgency in doing tasks
• Eager to talk about engineering analysis technology with potential customers
• Positivity and self-motivated
• Knowledge of social media platforms like LinkedIn and any sales CRM

Key Responsibilities:

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS.
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture.
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible.
• Optimize the API for high performance and scalability.
• Write unit tests for API Testing.
• Automate the code testing and deployment process.

Skills Required:

• At least 3 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds.
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database.
• Good knowledge of MongoDB or any other NoSQL Database.
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases.
• Experience with graph-based databases like GraphQL and Neo4j.
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks.
• Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with Web sockets, Service Workers, and Web Push Notifications.
• Familiar with NodeJS profiling tools.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Good knowledge of creating and maintaining DevOps infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Should be a fast learner and a go-getter — without any fear of trying out new things Preferences.
• Experience building a large-scale social or location-based app.

Requirements:

·  Candidates must have substantial applicable IT experience, extensive development, programming experience in Core Java, J2ee, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Webservices using Restful, any DB (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL server).

·  Preferably the candidate must have worked in development projects and must have experience in Java / J2ee design patterns.

·  Experience in AWS, Azure will be an added advantage.

·  Candidate must have good experience in Agile methodology.

• Coding and debugging pure JavaScript, polyglot and multi-lingual applications.
• Working closely with Technical Lead/Project Manager to ensure development timelines are met.
• Contribute with ideas to improve system design or streamline product delivery.
• Working with challenging applications involving Real Time Data.
• Working on different platforms including the usage of the Native SDKs provided on JavaScript.

• Strong experience in developing applications using Javascript and Jquery.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in React.JS is a must.
• Experience in any other Javascript libraries is an added advantage.
• Create different types of Charts and Graphics with the help of HTML5 Canvas, SVG etc.
• Should possess understanding of UI design and its behavior across devices (desktops to smart phones).
• Good to have worked with APIs exposed by social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
• Experience in working with data structures such as XML and JSON.
• Added knowledge of mobile development frameworks like jQuery Mobile is an added advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Should be a self-starter and should have the ability to work under pressure.
