Technical Lead (Java+Angular)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on engineering leader who can own technical design and drive end-to-end development of scalable, high-quality systems. This role requires strong architectural depth, coding excellence, and the ability to mentor engineers while building production-grade applications in a fast-paced agile environment.

You will lead by example — designing systems, writing clean code, solving complex problems, and ensuring engineering best practices across the stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture discussions (HLD & LLD).
• Build scalable, modular, and testable systems with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Own complex features end-to-end — design, development, testing, and optimization.

Core Technical Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering / related field

Key Responsibilities

4+ years of experience in design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java (8, 17, 21).

Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.

Implement secure authentication and authorization using Spring Security (JWT/OAuth2).

Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.

Work with Spring Data JPA / Hibernate for database interactions.

Implement configuration management using YAML and Properties files.

Integrate event-driven messaging systems and streaming platforms.

Work with MongoDB for data storage and optimize query performance.

Implement logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting for production systems.

Integrate and work with Azure cloud services including:

Event Hub

Key Vault

Storage Accounts

Databricks

Azure AD authentication (Service Principal, Managed Identity, Federated Credentials)

Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for deployment and monitoring.

Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities would include: 

1. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications. 

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and implement solutions. 

3. Develop & customize the application using HTML5, CSS, and jQuery to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces. 

4. Integrate with relational databases (RDBMS) to manage and retrieve data efficiently. 

5. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. 

6. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. 

7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and systems. 

Qualification requirement - 

1. 4 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2ee development, preferably with enterprise-level projects.

2. Spring Framework including - SOA, AoP and Spring security 

3. Proficiency in web technologies including HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.

4. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

5. Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle

6. Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and experience with SQL.

7. Experience with version control systems like Git.

8. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) 

9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.

 Responsibilities:

• Front-end, API, and back-end development, ensuring the successful delivery of digital solutions
• Drive innovation by staying informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
• Collaborate with the Product Manager, UX/UI Designers, and Engineering Manager to define agile technical requirements, provide technical estimation, and prioritize backlogs based on business needs and technical feasibility
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning meetings to ensure alignment between technical implementation and product roadmap
• Participate in hands-on development activities, including coding, debugging, and troubleshooting, to deliver high-quality applications
• Design, architecture, development of digital applications, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles
• Design scalable architectures for multi-region deployment
• Implement test automation strategies and frameworks to automate testing processes and ensure the quality and reliability of applications
• Automate test cases and integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline

Full Stack Developer - Responsibilities:

1. Perform design, development and support of existing and new products.
2. Understand product vision and business needs to define product requirements and product architectural solutions.
3. Develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product.
4. Work with Product Manager in planning and execution of new product releases.
5. Consult business management team to clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified products.
6. Work with domain, product management and product engineering teams in the solution engineering efforts.
7. Work with pre-sales and product management teams in solution demonstrations.
8. Maintain product roadmap and architectural standards that assure product development projects optimally align with business objectives.
9. Define product validation policies so as to deliver products that meet system and project expectations.
10. Facilitate the creation, review, and sign off of project deliverables.
11. Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution for customers.

Skills:

• Experience in Java/J2EE, JavaScript is a must.

• Experience in development in a CI/CD environment and familiarity with CI/CD tools is required.
• Good interpersonal and facilitation skills.
