Experience

What You’ll do as a Senior Software Craftsperson:

• Your typical day will include attending Agile standups, designing components or services, writing lots of code, testing and integrating your code, and reviewing others’ code.
• You’ll participate in and contribute to Agile team activities. You’ll help estimate the amount of time and effort projects will take as part of the sprint cycle.
• You’ll ensure software engineering best practices, coding standards and patterns for development and deployment.
• You’ll investigate alerts about possible errors in the system. You’ll help solve outages, participate in retrospectives, and implement countermeasures to prevent similar issues from recurring.
• You’ll create tools and documentation for internal teams like Client Delivery to understand how the systems work and to enable them to onboard customers in a timely manner with minimal support from Engineering.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proficiency with some or all of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node, Storybook, Python, Flask, end to end and unit testing frameworks.
• 5+ years of Object-Oriented Programming with Python or equivalent (required)
• 5+ years of experience working with relational (SQL) databases (required)
• 5+ years of experience using Git to contribute code as part of a team of Software Craftsperson.

You’ll use your experience in/familiarity with technologies relevant to:

• Build, scale, and deliver dynamic and highly available enterprise solutions.
• Help the Agile team execute sprint deliverables.
• Provide an educated estimate of effort for the sprint cycle.
• Think creatively about how to use technology and tools to solve problems faced by our users and customers.

You’ll use your critical thinking skills to:

• Escalate issues to your Agile team in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot issues and debug code to find the root cause of issues and develop countermeasures to address them.
• Design components that are stable, robust, performant, secure, and scale to accommodate anticipated user volume.

Key Responsibilities:

● Front-End Development: Build and maintain high-quality WordPress websites with a focus on responsive, user-friendly design.

● Custom Theme Development: Customise WordPress themes or build new ones from scratch based on design requirements.

● Collaborate with Designers and Backend Developers: Work closely with designers to ensure websites align with the company's branding and user experience (UX) goals, while collaborating with backend developers to ensure seamless functionality.

● Plugin Integration and Customization: Install, configure, and modify plugins enhance website functionality.

● Website Optimization: Ensure websites are optimised for speed, performance, and SEO.

● Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure website functionality across various browsers and devices.

● Troubleshooting and Debugging: Diagnose and resolve front-end performance issues or bugs.

● Adhere to Coding Standards: Follow best practices and coding standards for clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

● Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to WordPress and front-end development.

Key Qualification

● Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress front-end development. Technical Skills:

● Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuer

● Experience with PHP and understanding of WordPress core functions.

● Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).

● Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first developmen

● Experience with theme customisation and child themes.

● Understanding of basic SEO principles for front-end development.

● Familiarity with Gutenberg block editor and page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.

● Design Tools: Proficiency with tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch to transla designs into WordPress themes.

● Version Control: Experience using Git for version control.

● Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

● Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.

React Developer

Location- Hyderabad

Job Description-

• Develop end-to-end features (full stack) for users and be proficient with aspects of design and coding.

• Proficiency in automated testing/testing methodologies is a must.

• Create, maintain, and modify (where necessary) the data structure.

• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.

• Work on React projects using specifies tools and databases.

• Should have very good understanding of the technical approach and its viability.

• Should be able to push back and accurately assess the viability of their solutions.

• Should be comfortable adopting testing frameworks and developing with common industry practices such as test-driven development.

Person Specifications/ Requirements

• Good understanding and proven experience of web development and basic languages such as HTML and JavaScript.

• Strong programming experience.

• Must have experience with React.js, Node.js.

• Experience with Vue.js and Go is required.

• Strong understanding of software development tools, data structures and data modelling.

• Strong Data Analytical Skills.

• Should have Knowledge and experience of databases, e.g., MS SQL, MongoDB.

• Comfortable with optimizing your code and refactoring where necessary, researching ways to have responsive solutions.

• Good understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), including benchmarking and refactoring during the TDD process.

• Familiarity with popular authorization techniques such as JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) is required.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and awareness of commercial deadlines.

• Strong self-discipline and detail-oriented, important to meet client requirements in pressured timelines to a high quality.

• Bachelor's level business related qualification or 2+ years relevant experience in a similar environment.

Skills ​

AEM Guides, JQuery, Java, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS, XML, Touch UI, CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.

Role and Responsibilities

●    Build and maintain solutions for AEM Guides.

●    Work in Agile Methodology - be part of Sprint Ceremonies, provide accurate estimates for assigned development Stories & deliver on time.

●    Follow Best and Recommended Practices while implementing solutions.

●    Ensure Code Quality, Readability, Maintainability and Security.

●    Write JUnit Test Cases for Unit Testing

●    Communicate with customer teams on requirements effectively.

●    Manage customer expectations of response time and issue resolution

●    Troubleshoot and reproduce the technical problems reported by customers and define workarounds.

●    Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of the AEM platform, and integrate with other systems

Required Skills

●    Good understanding on UI technologies like JQuery, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS.

●    Must: Good understanding of backend technologies like Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar.

• Previous work experience of 4-6 years as an angularJS developer.
• Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
• Experience using JavaScript building tools like Gulp or Grunt.
• Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including AngluarJS.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications.

Experience- 3 to 8 years 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and sockets
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
