Job Description - Architect :

Role:

• Understand complex business problems and implement product features that are secure, scalable, robust, and easy to implement and maintain.
• Take full ownership of product features to implement, provide bug fixes and write tests and tooling for those features to ensure they work well at cloud scale.
• Plan and identify solutions and risks proactively
• Own delivery of assigned work in terms of committed date, scope, and quality
• Remain at the cutting edge of technology trends and use them to solve emerging problems
• Identifying and leading technical initiatives independently towards planned outcomes

 

Job Requirement:          

• Strong experience in developing enterprise web applications.
• Expertise in the Microsoft technology stack (http://asp.net/">ASP.NET MVC 3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5, Web API, SQL Server).
• Good knowledge of Client-side scripting – JavaScript and JQuery, Kendo.
• Knowledge of design patterns is required
• Ability to negotiate technical requirements with global customers
• Ability to communicate with technical experts as well as functional teams
• Demonstrated experience with non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, and security
• Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise and ownership in the assigned technical area
• Demonstrate experience in mentoring technical teams
• Ability to own solutions for design and architecture
• Experience in Product Engineering is desirable.
• Experience in enterprise software development is desirable

·         Oversee the workflow and the workforce involved in the entire software development process ·         Responsibilities include creating strategies for optimal performance, coordinating with different teams and departments to identify strengths and weaknesses, implementing training and workshop programs, and liaising with external agencies, including key clients

1. Key Accountabilities

Application Development ·         Pioneer and drive Agile development practices, leading sprint teams and backlogs ·         Provide guidance to the team and ensure they adhere to development standards ·         Ensure team structure is optimized, and resources managed, to facilitate efficient project delivery - seamlessly integrate, mentor, and manage internal (remote) and external teams (contractors), continually monitoring quality and effectiveness ·         Innovation and product development – generate and facilitate ideas development, requirement gathering and user evaluation to continually develop new and exciting features and value add services ·         Balance competing priorities – have a good understanding of software technical debt and ensure we've got the right balance between paying it down, delivering new projects and offering outstanding customer support ·         Create and/or refine lean processes to ensure effective, scalable, and profitable workflows – identify and analyze problems and implement solutions. Ensure consistent and iterative delivery of high-impact, high-quality work ·         Ensure that the business objectives and customer requirements are at the heart of all processes and projects ·         Take part in deep-dive troubleshooting exercises - drive technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues and implement appropriate solutions Designers & Developers ·         Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software and is the go-to team for all aspects of maintenance starting with resolving software bugs, managing delivery of software and working on customer escalations ·         Work with product managers, designers & developers to translate internal and external customer and market requirements into a system, product, and technology roadmaps Vendor Sourcing & Management ·         Manage relationships with various technology vendors and contract agreements to ensure technically and economically efficient products and services are provided Application Management ·         Ensure new application upgrades or transformation are compliant with current applications, commercials involved in their upkeep and overlook the future need of applications and their upgrades from software development perspective ·         Ensure availability of in-house applications to business/ functional users as per requirement ·         Ensure that in-house application related incidents, events, problems, and service requests get closed in an efficient, consistent manner per the committed SLAs

Experience - 7+ Years. Must have hands-on experience in any of the Advance JavaScript Library tool like Angular JS/JQueryExperience with object-oriented design, data modeling, analysis methodologies, database and SQL. Experience in DevOps and Microservices. Experience with ASP.NET MVC, developing Web-APIs. Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL (2012). Knowledge of stored procedures (T-SQL), triggers, database design and relational design. Good understanding of Entity Frameworks Familiarity with .NET Architectural PatternsHands on with performance tools, code review, core coverage, performance tools, UML diagrams, SQL profiler. Designing the framework from Scratch. Experience in Deployment diagram is must. Must have experience in POC or any live project in Azure, AWS or Any cloud. Should have experience in Active directory and visual studio 2017

Role Overview:

 

Get “Tech” in order: Help answer fundamentals of technology blocks to be used, choice of certain platform/tech over other, helping team visualize product with the available resources and assets

 

Innovation through Research and continuous improvement. Head of technology is one strategic personnel who provides critical and factual inputs for IP Creation.

 

Connecting Business Requirements with activity: Given that, Head of technology is an executive Tech leader, it’s easy for him to understand the business opportunities which Tech Product could create. He/She bring the perspective of tech as a differentiator. He/She should understand the “Market Needs” language talked by his other executive colleagues.

 

Methodology: With time, help build progressive learning culture and establish predictable model of envisioning, designing and developing products/ platforms and services.

 

Architecture Practices: Making sure that best practices are defined and followed by team is very important. he/she may have to garbage guy and clean the code time to time. Making reviews on Code Quality is an important activity that he/she should follow. For example, you build an amazing product but during deployment and testing stage performance is hit, or a bug fixes are taking more time than actual building a feature etc. need to be avoided.

 

Help build, manage, and validate a Tech Roadmap for its Products. As validation of idea happen with acquisition of users and customers, product / platform / service may undergo transformation on required features set and Market needs. A roadmap to achieve those “vanity goals” for the project, and be able to successfully tweak an approach with changing needs is expected from Head of technology.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Plan the project & Assign tasks & complete them within the agreed timelines with client
• Use PMP tools to manage projects
• Attend client meetings and take briefings
  Help Business teams to innovate and keep them updated with new technologies
• Documentation as per the process – BRS, SRS, HLD & LLD
• Manage a team; set processes in place to facilitate everyday operations seamlessly
• If required, code.

 

 

 What you will need: 

• PHP/MySQL, Angular JavaScript, jQuery, Memcached
• Experience: Minimum 10+ year is required (PHP/MySQL)
• Good Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks (CodeIgniter / Zend/Laravel).
• Solid Knowledge of OOPS.
• Solid experience with MySQL - writing and optimizing SQL for high performance systems with large Database
• Extensively worked on Mobile platforms.
• Must have Experience on either of Social API like Facebook, Twitter, Gmail

• Experience in designing high volume data chains, i.e. messaging queues, streaming, processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data for IoT eco-system.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise application frameworks like spring/apache software integration web services (SOAP/RESTful), ESB SDLC tools (Git, Automated Testing Frameworks) cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in building Big Data, AI, Machine Learning analytics pipelines.
