Our client is an edtech platform that imparts impactful content, that focuses on early-stage language learning. It follows a blended approach of one-to-one online tutor sessions as well as self-learning content. Their panellists are linguistic experts who use cloud LMS, video streaming, real-time chats, games and interactive sessions to train people in local Indian languages and foreign dialect too.

 

While their content helps people like cab drivers, delivery boys, technicians and other blue-collar workers learn about their jobs and communication skills well, they also undertake services from BPOs and E-commerce companies in the form of Vernacular and Corporate Training. Based out of Bengaluru, the 5-year-old platform conducts sessions in over 35 languages, with some special courses aimed at kids learning too. The platform has currently over 15 lakh subscribers and has seen a ten-fold increase in the last couple of years itself.

 

As Tech Lead, your role will primarily be about taking important decisions regarding the entire tech road map of the company in alignment with the Company's short and long term goals.

 

• Leading a team of one of the finest developers and constantly hiring more people to enrich this team further as per requirement
• Achieving seemingly unrealistic timelines for feature development and product releases
• Innovating and exploring the latest technologies to evaluate if they can push the Company's product vision further by a few years.
• Building a strong team of young developers and nurturing them to become better versions of themselves
• Building REST APIs and integrating Third-Party APIs; building Deployment Systems

• Looking for experience between 7 to 10 years only
• Strong in Backend technology
• Exp in Rest APIs, Third-Party APIs, Dev Ops
• Team Handling exp
• Built scalable tech products from scratch
• Hands-on experience with Node.JS, MongoDB, GCP, AWS, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Vue.JS, React JS, Angular, Flutter;
• A basic idea of Machine learning and NLP (bonus)
• A huge risk-taking appetite but also a strong connection with the cause.
