Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Tech Architect with expertise in Java Spring Boot to design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. As a Tech Architect, you will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of complex software projects and providing architectural guidance to engineering teams. 
• This role requires deep technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Experience in the Fintech domain is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design & Strategy:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and secure backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. 
• Define best practices for code quality, testing, security, and deployment processes. Drive the adoption of modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and frameworks.

1. Technical Leadership:

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to developers and engineers on coding standards, design patterns, and technologies.
• Ensure the architecture is aligned with business goals and technical constraints. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices to maintain high-quality standards.

1. Collaboration:

• Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, integrate with third-party services, and ensure the overall system design is cohesive.

1. Problem Solving:

• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, such as performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and system integrations.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and frameworks to continually improve the development process.

1. Documentation & Reporting:

• Document architectural designs, technical specifications, and implementation guides.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and technical challenges to senior leadership.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to system architecture, processes, and technologies to enhance the software development lifecycle.

Strong Backend Node.js Developer Profile

Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have 7+ years of hands-on Backend Engineering experience using Node.js building production-grade systems for B2C products at meaningful consumer scale

Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must be AI-native in their own engineering workflow: already uses LLMs and agentic tooling across the SDLC, from design and code generation through testing and debugging

Mandatory (Experience 3) – Must have owned backend architecture end to end, including greenfield builds. Should be able to make early architecture calls and reason clearly about service boundaries, data flow, caching, queueing, failure modes, scalability, and reliability trade-offs under real constraints.

Mandatory (Experience 4) – Must have a solid understanding of backend fundamentals, including API development, service-oriented architecture, data structures, algorithms, and clean coding practices

Sr. Technology Architect

Experience Range: 12–15+ years of IT experience, including 3–5+ years in leadership / people management roles.

Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore

Qualification: B. Tech /B.E in computer science or equivalent

Minimum 10+ years of experience in Advanced Java

At least 2+ years of experience for the following areas:

• Lead and mentor full-stack development teams across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Define technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications using Agile methodologies.
• Oversee application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ensure adherence to security, performance, quality, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with clients, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage resource planning, risk mitigation, technical reviews, and stakeholder communication.
• Promote DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices to improve delivery efficiency

Must Haves-

• Strong experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting, and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Front-end expertise in React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JSP.
• Experience with Kafka or similar event-driven messaging platforms.
• Strong understanding of API Design, REST Services, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience implementing security frameworks including OAuth 2.0.
• Hands-on expertise with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
