Back End Developer

Job Description:
Location: Pune (Initially Remote due to COVID 19)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join the team in India and be instrumental in taking our products to the next level. In this role, you will be working in close collaboration with a team of highly empowered, experienced developers who are building a high-performance, highly scaled global platform.

 Candidate's Profile:

• Experience building systems involving messaging or event-driven architectures

• Deep technical understanding of Java or Go, and willing to work with both

• Strong handle on concurrency challenges and design solutions

• Heavy emphasis on code testing and designing for test-ability

• Maturity and aptitude to operate in a high-freedom/high-responsibility environment

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Experience with supporting and troubleshooting large systems

• Exposure to infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible

• Exposure to IAAS platforms such as AWS EC2, GCP, etc…

• Experience with Cassandra, Aerospike, or other NoSQL databases

• 8+Years of Exp in C++ Developement

Software: C++, Jenkins, Visual Studio, Linux, CheckMarx, GitHub, Google test framework.

Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, Cloud deployable, high performance based.

DB: Oracle

Libraries: CPLEX (knowledge of CPLEX is a plus)

1. Follow the sales process of pre-sales, client servicing, and post sales.
2. Fulfilling all the targets set by the company on a monthly and quarterly basis.
3. Making presentations and pitching to the corporate and individual clients.
4. Attending client meetings with the senior team and follow up for the same.
5. Customer relationship management with new and old clients.
6. Proactively engage in the sales cycle from cold calling to follow ups
7. Bifurcation of leads and updating  the sales funnel on regular intervals
8. Identify issues and opportunities for us to develop new business or cross-sell

1. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
2. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
3. Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role.
4. Proven interaction with architect preferred, not required

Must have:

1. Proficiency in English.
2. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
3. Thorough understanding of marketing techniques.
4. Fast learner and passion for sales.
5. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
6. Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
7. Bachelor's degree.

• 5 years experience with the Django framework
• Experience with building APIs (REST or GraphQL) 
• Strong Troubleshooting and debugging skills
• React.js knowledge would be an added bonus 
• Understanding on how to use a database like Postgres (prefered choice), SQLite, MongoDB, MySQL.
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented design and analysis.
• A strong passion for writing simple, clean and efficient code.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git.

Experience:

• Min 5 year experience
• Startup experience is a must. 

Location:

• Remote developer

Timings:

• 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone.  Typically clients are in California PST Timezone.

Position:

• Full time/Direct

Duties And Responsibilities

Coding backend for a stock analysis platform in Nodejs. You don’t.t need any experience or understanding of stocks for this position.
Nodejs - candidate must have good experience working with Nodejs and have a deep understanding of space -time complexity for writing optimized code in typescript
Typescript- candidate must know typescript and have good experience with it.
MongoDB and PostgreSQL - candidate must have experience working with both technologies. understanding of both technologies and designing scalable and optimized database structures
