Job Purpose:
The Store executive is responsible for managing the daily store operations, ensuring proper inventory control, documentation, and coordination with production and purchase departments. The role requires ERP knowledge, auditing skills, material tracking, and adherence to 5S standards. The inventory level to be managed in the stores would be to the tune of 10.00 Cr.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management & Control
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Track stock movement using ERP software.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counting.
- Identify and report shortages and take necessary follow-up actions.
2. Goods Receipt & Documentation
- Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for incoming materials.
- Verify invoices and delivery notes against purchase orders.
- Maintain proper documentation for batch cards and material tracking.
3. ERP & System Management
- Enter and manage stock transactions in the ERP system.
- Generate inventory and material consumption reports.
- Ensure real-time stock updates and data accuracy.
4. Third-Party Job Work & Material Tracking
- Track materials sent for third-party job work and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow up on pending materials and timely job completion.
- Record and verify materials received after external processing.
5. Auditing & Compliance
- Conduct internal store audits to ensure compliance.
- Prepare documents for external audits.
- Implement and maintain 5S practices in the store.
6. Shortage Follow-Up & Coordination
- Identify critical shortages affecting production.
- Coordinate with the purchase and production team for urgent procurement.
- Ensure timely replenishment of raw materials and consumables.
7. General Store Management
- Supervise store staff and daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the store.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
