Job Description:

 

Magento Developers with 3+ years of experience

 

1) Should have hands-on experience in Magento module/extension development

2) Should be able to quickly understand existing custom modules in Magento and customize and manage it further.

3) Hands-on experience in developing and consuming API/REST calls both inbound and outbound within Magento

4) Should know how to develop WebService/API/REST calls as per Magento architecture, coding standard

5) Troubleshooting integration issues from API/REST calls.

6) Excellent knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

7) Good working experience on MySQL, developing complex SQL queries, design tables/database for complex business models

8) Knowledge of MVC, OOPs, Design Patterns – especially the design patterns used in Magento

9) Knowledge of Magento theming / UI components is preferred.

10) Hands-on experience with Magento 2 Porto Theming

11) Knowledge of deployment process in Cloud, especially for Magento

12) Should be competent and confident to speak up in team meetings, discussions, war rooms

13) Good command of English language

14) Should be able to work under minimal supervision

15) Should be able to coordinate with other teams and collectively solve issues.

16) Should be able to work independently as well as team

17) Candidate should have prior work experience in Magento Enterprise.

Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks ( Magento 1/2, Wordpress, YII, Laravel, Prestashop)

Understanding of MVC design patterns

Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3

Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions

Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools (like GIT) and of developing web services

Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc) (OPTIONAL)

• Minimum 5+ year of experience in Magento Development with In-depth knowledge of Magento framework, Frontend Architecture, Themes, Modules, Functionality, and Configuration.
• In-depth knowledge of Magento’s code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components
• Strong knowledge in Implementing API services like REST, SOAP
• Must have the ability to develop Magento Modules, Themes, UI Component/Widget, and customizing existing themes/modules.

Expertise in HTML, CSS, jQuery, Wordpress or other frontend technologies
Generate a custom-tailored Shopify theme and altering the pre-existing template.
Should have a good understanding of Product, Discount, Order APIs, and customization using the APIs
The developer must be able to do Shopify cart development, Shopify plugin development, integration of third-party apps and other related tasks,
Responsibilities and Duties

A must for the Shopify developer to have the skills to solve all minor-to-major problems arising during development.
Important to have proven communication skills, ability to understand requirements, independently handle Shopify projects
